Am Using HTC wildfire from last 2 months.
Already i have HTC Touch2 and Nokia N8.

HTC Wildfire is best buy upto date am posting this review. This phone is best in overall Performance keeping Money in mind.

At this price you get all features which are required by Business or College going person (Entertainment).

Android 2.2 rocks. Moving apps to SD card makes ur Internal memory free. Market is wonderful with huge list of apps (Free too).

At present out of Windows,Symbian,Android, we can say that Android developers are increasing day by day.

I like these 3 OS. But Symbian is now outdated and not good with touch. Windows 6.5 is good but still not finger oriented OS.

Well am also waiting for Windows 7, as that OS need many improvements.

At last HTC wildfire is best choice for Emails,Documents,Music,Camera,Apps,Browsing,Messaging,Social Act like FB,Plurk,Twitter.

Never used any such app myself.. But this is what I could find..
A good app i could find that claimed to do most of the things: MyHiddenPhone Free
              1. If you want to encrypt files :
              MyFileEncrypt by NextGenerationTeam
              2. If you want your voice communication over VOIP to be encrypted:-
App Name: Kryptos (available for free). Works on 3G, 4G and Wifi
              3. Notes to be encrypted : Encrypted NotesCipher,
              4. SMS/email to be encrypted: Sms Encrypter Free, SecretMessage, Cipher
              5. OISafe : for storing passwords securely
You can also try Training!! Encrypt/Decrypt by tiger papa..

ankit, 04 Feb 2011can i download apps like talking tom for my htc wildfire? i... morecan i download apps like talking tom for my htc wildfire? i have asked this question because you said screen resolution does not support some apps.can you tell me which kind of apps are not supported by wildfire?

Ans: Talking Tom you can. But for e.g. Swype is not available..
It's not a big disadvantage.. You get most of the stuff.. But it is possible that you don't get some stuff..

Phones in India below 14k (& above 10k).

                      Android OS:
                      HTC Wildfire.
                      LG Optimus 1.
                      Samsung Galaxy, Galaxy 5.
                      Sony Ericsson Xperia X8.
                      Motorola Backflip & maybe Dext.
                      Dell XCD28.
You may find some phones from Garmin-Asus etc.

                      Symbian OS:
                      Nokia X6 8GB & C6 (with full QWERTY).
                      In non-touch, E5, E71, N79, N86 etc.

                      Blackberry OS:
                      Blackberry Storm.
                      In non-touch, Blackberry Curve.

                      BADA OS:
                      Samsung Wave S8500.

No Windows Phone OS or iOS phones in this price bracket.

The best among these being Samsung Wave (excellent screen and multi-media capabilities, great camera and video recording, good UI too), Nokia X6 (again great multi-media, excellent sound reproduction, great camera and free voice Navigation software. Apart from the fact that its a Nokia), LG Optimus One (big screen, Android 2.2), HTC Wildfire (the only thing it has better than Optimus1 is its camera) and the Nokia non-touch phones (Nokia is still the undisputed market leader here). You can also consider Blackberry Storm (better screen) over Wildfire.

mith, 06 Feb 2011hey can anyone suggest me which phone is good htc wildfire ... moreI prefer wildfire personally. X6 has some good points since my guy owned that unit once. But if we get to compare the functionality of the two phones, I'd prefer wildfire. First is it's OS. Second is the number of applications you can find. But it's still your decision if you go for X6 or Wildfire. Choose which of the phones best suits your needs. I hope this helps :)
