if XDA developers (check forum.xda-developers.com and search for wildfire) were able to get 2.3 (Gingerbread) for this phone, then it would s*ck if HTC can't or won't do it.

hey guys, wildfire is a low-end phone from htc product line. so don't expect a high end functionality. but comparing it to other phones within its level, its definitely competitive. camera quality is good most especially when transferred to the computer. music and resolution is fine but not great. very responsive and fast UI. its a great phone for its price range. worth buying.

Modi, 24 Jan 2011Hi, is it possible to upgrade this mobile to android 2.3?Yes,there is a 2.3 custom rom available for HTC Wildfire but it will void you warranty.
If you are asking about the official OTA update then it will probably never happen according to me.
