i am using this smart phone over a month now. i found that this phone requiring a mobile internet plan to make it superv! its functions just simply the best coz is using os android 2.1 then it can upgrade to 2.2.. while comparing to others htc models, this phone cpu is a little bit smaller but it is enough as a low end smartphones.. about the applications, the android market provided all the stuff u needs. also, just turn the unknown sources on so it can allow to install application of non market. which mean u can install any applications downloaded from pc too. i guess that android applications is more than a million to choose from the internet. i also installed some game like mafia world from myspace and zynga poker from facebook.. there still much much more to explore since i got this phone. maybe i also wanna try to create my own application via this android platform phone soon.. i give 4 stars out of 5...

          1. How is its battery backup?
[ANS] It's ok. Not great not bad..(on froyo 2.2)
          2. How is its picture quality?
[ANS] Screen quality? Not good. Camera quality? when transferred on computer, it's good!
          3. Does the applications, games and other s/w are readly available for free, as it does not support Java?
[ANS] It's android. So free applications are abundant. Don't worry about that at all..
Please answer as 'm planning to buy one next month

denden, 20 Jan 2011hey guys, just wanna get your opinion on this. I’m on a dil... moreYO can go for Wildfire..Nice one..Since you are planning for basic level smartphone(Hope you are using basic phones so far), this will be a g8 Smart phone for you. Good Touch response, Fast inernet and finally Android.. Resolution is fine( but users can't digest if they are using high end phone and switching to Wildfire)

                        Thanks!

hey guys, just wanna get your opinion on this. I’m on a dilemma between Blackberry Curve and this HTC Wildfire. I’m actually into taking pictures so I guess Wildfire has an edge since it has flash. But I also wanna try a “decent” entry level smartphone which would probably be a good experience if I buy BB Curve. I don’t know what I will prioritize more. This BB looks great but the only thing that makes me think twice is the camera. HTC though is an Android and Curve is on BB (which I heard can be upgraded to BB OS6). Which is the better smartphone??

hi every one, i got my wildfire on 11.1.11.
i am satisfied with the following reasons.
                            1)superb touch response
2)camera clarity is satisfactory for me.
3)with led flash, cam can take gr8 pics even in darkness
                            4)nice look and interface
                            5)its really worth for money
6)2.5 days battery back up after normal use

but i am not satisfied with the music quality.it desperates me.
