@Varun, I followed your instruction, but seems that some apps can't move from internal to memory card and caches or data are stored in internal memory. any idea? now my internal memory is under 100mb :(

Anonymous, 04 Jan 2011I'm wondering another question is that, after update to 2.2... moreYOu just install your apps the way they used to.. They install by default in your phone memory.. THen you go to Settings-> Applications-> Manage Applications and there if you click the individual app, you get an option "Move to SD card. That's how u can install it to the memory card.

Mayur M, 03 Jan 2011hi...
how did u updated to froyo....?
sm1 please tell me ... moreI updated to Froyo by OTA update. Basically go to Settings-> About Phone -> System Software Updates.
I heard that the updates have been network specific, as in something like, Airtel and vodafone getting updates first, then maybe other operators..
The update was 58 MB. I have unlimited GPRS (Airtel) so downloaded it and installed. Downloading took its own sweet time over this slow network, but installing would have taken around 5 minutes.
Battery life: I use my phone, to
1. chat on talk
2. read a few pdfs
3. read the newspaper,
4. check mails
5. listening songs.
I would say above average usage takes it to little over a day. I have to charge it in lets say 1.25 days. Which I don't consider as bad, since I'm using it like my computer and my phone every day.
I would say, I'm pretty satisfied with the experience..

I'm wondering another question is that, after update to 2.2 froyo, will all the apps install automatically to memory card or do i need other software to do it? sorry to bother.. cos it's my first andriod phone.

Ok, i dont usually write on these things, but for the people who say "oh the Desire is better, this is crap"...Obviously a mercedes S class is better then a mercedes A class. But the prices are worlds apart aswell. But the important thing is you get the Mercedes experience, in this case the Android experience.
So stop hatin' ya'll, and just enjoy.
