this phone can arguable the low end smartphone at HTC portfolio. is Affordable, and it come with its price for being affordable. Those who can or willing to spend more to get better phone, why still reading comment here?
u expect like this to beat Desire or SGS or iPhone? if yes, u just making yrself look like a fool.
anywhere, those who never used smartphone before, want to try it out and have limited budget, u can try this phone out as a beginner.

Probably, HTC knows to attract costumers. I highly recommend Wildfire when u think of budget and handy smart phone.

Got the Wildfire Finally today but disappointed with the resolution...

Well, I have read/heard that screen resolution plays a big role and processor, too.
1. Wildfire doesn't have GPU (needed for 3D games and stuff). So no 3D games for you. :D
2. To view any page in interweb you have to zoom like crazy.
3. A LOT of apps won't be available.
4. etc. etc.
At the beginning I wanted to buy this device, but then I changed my mind. I will better wait for LG Optimus One or Chic or wait till HTC Aria will be available in Europe.

Got ma fone 2day...after using gud resolution earlier (HTC Diamond), dis one seemed little disappointing initially...but that didnt last long...Only at same places, u will find side effects of low resolution...bt in day 2 day use, u will hardly notice such glitches...already installed 30+ applications...didnt find any issue coz of resln...so be BINDASS...

i understand that screen resolution of wildfire is only 240#320,but does this play a big role on the phone when surfing the net watching movies or download movies or pictures n i dont play games.can anyone xplain me...pls?,i am interested on the phone and planing to purchase the phone...tq

Phone performance is superd never lags....It has a inbulit Querty keypad whihc displays on normal and landscape modes easy to type in....hope this answers ur Questions..:)
