Anonymous, 05 Jul 2010hey gys Few ques::- 1.Is the multi-touch supported in all ... moreI bought the HTC Wildfire about 2 weeks ago. First impression: FAST, it is an improved version of the cheaper Android model: Tattoo. Compare, you will see almost the same features, except bigger ram memory, more CPU, etc. aka more value for the same price. I bought mine at 254 euros.

I loove android, i really have to say, android rocks, and with the 2.1 interface there are unlimited of applications for free. What is a bit more of a downside is the screen resolution. 240 x 320 pixels is almost the same of a Samsung Star (wifi), but with nice anti-aliasing it makes it tolerable.

The camera is more worse than the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, first of all because of the lens, and second of al, i do like the autofocus of the 5800 more. Despite there is a selective autofocus on the Wildfire (tap where you want to focus), the 5800's are just more accurate. What i also miss is a real shutter button.

Sound is good with headphone, is very comparable with a iPhone 3G, only the speakers of the phone are not in stereo like the 5800 and also smaller, so don't think you will have a master sound, the speakers aren't that good. But good enough to hear somebody's calling you. For the rest: use your headphone.

The capacitive touchscreen is a real winner. It is very easy to click on the right spot, also in large texts. Only the HOME - MENU - BACK and SEARCH buttons are a bit bad placed: sometimes i click accidentally on search or menu with the consequence the app is closing by accident. That is a real pity.

The accelerometer is very nice, i love how accurate the thing is, far more better than even the iPhone. Very fast also, and yes, there is a landscape mode for text messages, e-mails, facebook, and so on. So you can use a bigger keyboard to type. Only a pity here that you won't see the previous message in landscape view.

Screen size didn't matter for me, because it is as big as the Legend's screen size.

I hope this mini-review is helpful! More questions, ask! My personal opinion: for the price: buy it! it is the half of the price of the x10 (and i love the HTC Sense interface the most) and even the half of the price of the Desire or the Legend. A real winner for me!

          Greetings,

          Arno

androidFan, 29 Jun 2010Samsung i5800 galaxy 3 is way better than this one in specs... moreI'm sorry but its not better :).
And aside from the specs, android is one of the best if not the best OS for mobiles in my opinion.
This phone is a nice attempt of HTC to get more people to use smartphones and even more to use android.

[deleted post]In my opinion you should definately go for the HTC wildfire over the LG KM900 because of many reasons firstly you want an android os phone for its amazing features and options as well as its leading app store and full flash coming to the browser in a 2.2 froyo update and besides for that it really kicks the LG KM900 in every way possible as a smartphone so thats your answer!!!

I have a htc Wildfire and it is 1 of the best phones i've ever owned or used, and trust me i've had a lot of phones,

the camera,(5mp)it is a good camera, the picks look great on my pc monitor,

the internet is quick in both the wifi mode and 3G (for a phone its super fast)

it is 1 of those phones that you must make it what you want, eg, download the kind of apps that you need.
It dose however come with the standerd clock, alarm, calculator, calander, and so on, but you can make it so much more.
