The HTC Wildfire is a nicely priced Android smartphone.
Upsides:
It comes with a wide variety of internet connection options. It connects to WiFi hotspots easily.
The built-in GPS is very accurate when driving but, like with most GPS devices, it take some time to pick up satellites when you are indoors(home, mall, etc. etc.)
The sound quality is quite good and it drives a pair of headphones just nicely.
Downsides:
It does have a nice screen size of 3.2", but the resolution of just 240 x 320 pixels is a bit of a downside when it comes to watching photos and videos.
The microUSB port is very flimsy, and should be handled with utmost care.
Battery life is poor. When browsing the internet on a 3G network, it barely hold a day. However, this is quite understandable seeing that a 1300mAh have to power the 3.2" screen, drive the OS, etc. etc.

8542, 24 Apr 2012hate this phone couse i had few very unconfortable situatio... morefor this i searched the market for programs to make me confirm first that i want to call and i found a good one it is called " tiny cal confirm " u must use it and it also will take care of ur bos :D

hate this phone couse i had few very unconfortable situations when finishing the talk,you are puting your phone back to pocket and you press again the call buton and you call to the person who you was talking before,for exemple my boss was calling and asked can i come to work,me -no sorry im very busy...and when puting back to the pocket i pressed the call buton...At the moment i was talking with my friend siting in the car with - fck why i supose to work on saturdays,the boss is real bastard ... at the same time my boss was hearing this in my pocket... I had not only one situation like that so u have to be very cearfull...

nikkie: i had same slowness issue and always suspected it was an app i had installed. in short i reset to factory setting and she flies again!

i've had this fone since 2011.
only two probs i see is that its super sloow. its sluggish..almost takes 7-8 secs just to enter msgs, yup i counted the seconds.
n i find the speakers comparativly lower to other fones i know.
otherwise..htc u have my heart.

It's a great phone I thought... but it is now breaking my hopes... it have very low internal memory n battery backup... its processor is also slow... otherwise its a good cell phone n one thing more dat games do not run properly in it... which is again negativity wid dis....

click contacts
click menu
select import/export
from there select import from sim/sd card

After having CynogenMode 7.2.0 RC1 (running android 2.3.7), my phone's performance has improved greatly. Plus it supports better apps frm Google Mkt.
