HTC still exists. At least the brand does, we're not sure how big of a smartphone team it still has following Google's acquisition all those years ago. But anyway, HTC is still churning out a mid-ranger or two each year, and it's almost time for us to see the next one.

Meet the HTC Wildfire E7, whose specs have been leaked today ahead of its launch in the UAE in the near future. The phone appeared in the Google Play Console in January, so it can't be long now before it becomes official.

When it does, it will allegedly feature a 6.67-inch LCD touchscreen with 720x1600 resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and 420-nit peak brightness. The E7 is powered by MediaTek's Helio G81 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.

There's a 50 MP main camera on the back next to a 0.08 MP decorative sensor, a 16 MP selfie snapper, and the phone supports dual-SIM with a dedicated microSD card slot. It has a 4,920 mAh battery with support for 10W wired charging.

It also boasts dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, a fingerprint scanner, a single speaker, and it weighs 204g. It measures 166.2 x 77.6 x 8.8 mm. It will be available in Black Blue and Light Blue colorways. Inside the box you'll find a charger, USB cable, a TPU case, and a SIM ejector tool.
