i have this phone...but the only problem i am facing is that when i open my camera something black tiny spot comes which is really annoying..plz anybody help???

Much too my surprise the phone updated itself to version 2.3.5 this morning. It appears its now a little faster than before and I have the fancy new lock screen now.

angela, 06 Jan 2012Is this unit compatible with the Skype software?... yes, but you need to load the old version of Skype (1.0.0.94), not the current one which gives very 'choppy' reception. The old version works perfectly. Do a google search to see how to get and load it

its a real handy set u cant even think to go back to old nokia technology after once using htc wildfire s nokia is better in only battery back up otherwise if u r the new generation boy or girl u beleive me nokia is a bullshit expensive sets old technology old software always hanging and the latest problem of nokia voice of incoming calls coming outside so everyone around hear what u r talking about also there is a problem in touch phones of nokia touch is awful really bad after heavy usage u have to preess hard ohh its really painful on the other hand htc has no such problems superb voice quality awsome touch and lovely display in my words i m a htc lover after using wildfire s
nokia is now only for uncles and aunties coz its user friendly but the youth is now androidify so keep androiding boys and girls

Good in camera,touch,sound,internet..........
Lacks in battery backup,wich us exceptable as mny applctn keep runng in in bckrnd..........internal memory is too low........and nt all applctns can be moved to sd card........so puts limitation on no. of applctn..........bt if U r goin for the same price range.........go for Ericson Live with walkman.........battery backup and internal memry is

This is a great and catchy phone... except for the battery life, though better for the USB charging feature, so I can actually get 1 or 2 ways 2 charge it or keep it on charge while I go about my work... It's a great phone with great features, I must say... Jst a lil work on the battery life nd it'll b thumbs-up for HTC Wildfire S...
