The phone looks really cool and classy. Except for the battery which lasts for one day hardly, everything else abt this phone is a ' Go for ' . Any chances of improving the battery life in any way ?

Hi... Am planning for a android phone... am confused bw htc wildfire S and Samsung galaxy ace... can some 1 suggest me d better phone.... my budget is 18k.... plz suggest any other better andriod phone if available in my budget... thank u..:)

Hi, i am using the htc live wallpaper, grass, and its always showing night. have been using it for 5 or 6 days now and it has not been showing day not once. could there be something wrong in settings?

SI, 11 Jun 2011got the phone a while ago, now since it has THE GORILLA GLA... moreIt does not have GORILLA GLASS.
The corning website does not list Wildfire S.

1)can i install flash player 10.1 on this set?
if yes. then does it play the flash content on the web?
2) it does not have xvid/divx player out of the box. so if i install an app for that then does it serve the purpose? will it be as efficient as the player that comes out of box(as in desire hd/s)..?

zlik, 11 Jun 2011this better or htc wildfire? o.Oof course this phone, this is faster, newer & runs gingerbread right out of the box. wildfire runs froyo and cant be updated to gingerbread

same-same, 11 Jun 2011youtube videos not playing, there seems to be some bug...th... moreyay!!! videos playing using the default youtube player that comes with the phone, guessing i had a problem with the edge connectivity earlier but wen im connected on wifi, voila!

But for playing YouTube videos you can use YouTube application, usually they already have it pre-installed on the phone.

SI, 11 Jun 2011got the phone a while ago, now since it has THE GORILLA GLA... moreI have a smartphone and the phone supposed to have a gorilla glass screen but somehow I managed to get a slight scratch on it, not quite visible and barely noticable though. So a screen protector (or a phone case/pouch) might be a good idea to protect your investment. :)

Is it true that the phone's l... moreStarting from Android ver. 2.2 you can install apps to SD card, this device have Android ver. 2.3 so you can do that also. But not all apps in Android market can install automatically to SD Card so you need the help of a free android app called APP2SD, with this app you can select which apps on the phone that can be moved to the SD card so you can have more memory on your phone. I hope this helps :)
PS: Not all apps can be moved to SD card, some of them are required to run on internal memory instead.

Well, the HTC wildfire S is a pretty great phone all-round. I've had it for about a month now and it hasnt let itself down! I dont know why people complain about the 'slow processer' i havnt had any problems whatsoever! Its as fast as i need it to be all the time. The quality of the camera is great; sure the video recording could be better but its not exactly an expensive phone: if you wanted brilliant viewing experiences then get an iphone or something. but i think for people who cant afford to burn a whole through their wallet on a phone then this is it for you! The web browsing experience is pretty good, i also have an ipod touch and to be honest, i dont see much of a difference.

Im using widget killer, n still there are plenty of apps n widgets that keep running services on the phone all the time...but nevertheless im getting 1.5days from the battery n that too im on the phone all day long with internet running,download,FB,mail...
If u put in a lil more money, im sure u get somethin better tho.
