Been using 8s for almost a year. The only drawback I face is the low internal memory and the inability to install applications and games on SD card. Wish that HTC comes with some upgrades to over come these. Rest, the phone is awesome.

1.9GB Goes for System files
500+ MB goes for Other storage and Temporary files.
the remaining memory space is not sufficient for installing HD games like Asphalt heat, Six Guns etc. And you can't even download a big size file. This phone sucks as long as Windows phone OS supports installation of apps only in phone memory and other storage problem get solved.
This thing makes Lumia 520 is a better choice.

Can I download apps on the memory card, I have this phone. phone memory also full, or it will be only downloaded on the phone's memory ? plzz help, not able to downloads already inserted 8gb memory card.

Well I have had this phone for the past 6months and I can tell you that this phone totally sux ! I mean the screens pixels just died for the second time and believe me I take care of my phones...I have never droped it but it still breaks every month....Good job htc...

Truly disappointed in software-Win8. Hardware is cool and neat but the os is just baaaad. If given the opportunity I could design something better alone during my lunch hour!
I still can't believe that Microsoft actually released this is and thinks,that this is what people want. Apart from cool keyboard typing feature I give the os a 3 out of 10 rating. And what is the story with being unable to transfer outlook contacts from PC to the phone by cable... Surely Microsoft has the tech,ology!!! Microsoft-contact me if you want to make a really useful and practical os.

Practically go and compare the both brands u will feel the difference. Yea i already mentioned that memory issue is there but quality wise this device is outstanding.

Then how can you manage with a 4 GB internal memory with hardly 2 GB user available memory. You can't install games like Asphalt Heat, Halo: Spartan assault etc that are nearly 1 GB in installation size. And look at 520s design it look way better than this phone and it has wide verity of Nokia Exclusive Applications.
