to low memory , you can t install apps on microSD and you have only 1 gb for apps. For exampple is imposible to intall a GPS software.
So if u want a phone only for few basic apps and talk is ok.

What does the lightning bolt with a cog next to it mean? I turned my phone on this morning and it has just shown that symbol for hours. (i have an HtC 8s by the way).

wow another foolish & expensive launch by htc...if one goin to take this phone plz dont go instead buy Nokia Lumia 520, same specifications & only in 150euro unlike htc 8s 250 euro...why the fidd of 100euros if specs r same...wht the hell do htc co. thinks we r fool we aint c the major diff of price on same specs phone...& nokia will give warranty also

I already have a Iphone 5. The music volume through the headphones is not very loud. The Iphone 4 and 4s was better.
So am looking really for a spare phone just for the gym and running with loud volume through the headphones.
I use to have the Nokia N91 and that was amazing.
So my choices are:
HTC 8x
HTC 8s
Or as its cheap the Nokia Lumia 520?
What should I go for guys?
Just purely for loudest music volume through headphones.
Nothing else matters as long as it works lol.

This my 3rd HTC phone, and I love this phone bcoz:
1. Beats sound
2. Gorilla glass display, just like my iPhone 4
3. Design just perfect, suits my personality
After using 2 iPhone, 2 Sumsung galaxy, and 3 HTC in last 3 years, I can say I'm really enjoying this HTC 8s, just as good as my iPhone 4. Only if windows had more apps as ios.

htc 8s and 8x sound identical loud and clear. personally i think even 8s have built-in beats amplifier like 8x, it sounds too good. both htc models are muuuch louder and better than all ipads and all iphones, (wich were the reference,the best music devices until now...). practically, htc with beats custom amplifier built-in is now very close to the supreme performance of nokia n91 with harman-kardon headphones amplifier. i use sony xb 500 and 700 on htc 8x. it is smashing!!

So having an INTERNAL GPS ANTENNA does this mean I could use the GPS on this without DATA or even cell service? Like a regular GPS? Using offline map app or something? I really want to get this but only for a fishing/hiking/boating GPS and a Camera/MP3.
