The Lumia 620 offers

Versus the htc 8s

Memory... 4 gigas not enough for WP.
But WP8, what an OS ! Love it !

Is anybody experiencing lock screen lag (delay) when phone is in airplane mode?
To test do following:
1. put phone in airplane mode
2. lock screen and wait cca. 5 minutes
3. press power button
In my case takes up to 10 seconds to show lock screen.

This HTC 8s model is a middle class smartphone, it is a more affordable version compared for example to the 8X. Anyway, the design is so much cooler, and the WP OS hasn't let me down, I'm crazy about it!
Cons : Average Camera Performances, Very limited internal memory (4GB, 1GB available to user), Apps can ONLY be installed on the phone memory.
Pros : Social Networks Integration, Microsoft Apps Synchronization (Mail, Notes, Calendar), Great OS defining, Office available for productivity, Quick Web Browsing (yes, even with IE 10 browser).

amr, 21 Feb 2013guys i need your help shoud i buy htc 8s or lumia 620 pleas... moreno question about it.. the lumia is a better buy. you get quad band 3g, you get a clear black display which is far superior than HTC's screen.. you get 8GB memory (rather than 4GB), you get dolby enhanced sound, and of course you get a better quality phone (HTC's quality is a joke).
oh yea, the nokia will hold better resale value too. the best thing about the HTC is the better battery life. But nokia also load up thier phone with better customized apps including nokia's maps and GPS (which is the best known in the market).
