Anonymous, 09 Aug 2012they fixed this is an update from the website :)Do you still not find the ringer volumes still very low even after the update. As far as I am aware the latest official update was B885 and I found the volume still very poor.
Do you know of a more recent firmware/software update than that.

I loved all other aspects of the phone so would take another chance if these help. I am quite hard of hearing by the way.

When I purchased it the software/firmware was updated to the latest B885 and the ringtones were still barely audiable So quiet one cannot understand what Huawei were thinking about when all other aspects of the phone for £100 were very good.

You can fix the sound by doing a firmware update, go to settings > about phone > online updates > firmware update. Do the update and your sound should be like a normal phones

First smart phone for an older guy with hearing issues and I love it! After reading here about ringtone problems I tried it in the shop and it was diabolical but having read of solutions here I took a punt on it because of the decent screen size and reasonably quick CPU. First the OTA improved the ringtone level but not good enough, next the AnEq Equaliser app,which fixes it for good. I also use the IntelliRing app which boosts the sound when in your pocket and drops it back when you take it out so you don't wake up the neighbourhood. Lastly I,ve installed a new ota that dramatically improves the screen sensitivity. It does many other things well also and in my country is a quarter of the price of an S3.Bang for your bucks it's unbeatable.

This phone.
Btw. this phone is great, i am using it for 2 days, runs rly smooth, no lag. Screen is awesome, processor is like dual core. i couldn't belive it's so fast.
Only minus is the build quality.
The plastic on this phone is kinda bad and its crunchy.
Btw. for this money you wont get anything better.
All in all 9/10
