The phone is great, I use mine with the SIM ONLY offer from 3, I tether it to my laptop and other devices and it works a dream.
The usability features of the phone are in line with the price you pay!
You buy a budget phone don't expect premium features like on an iphone.

I am thinking as I need an affordable smart phone mainly for use with my tablet. I'm thinking of the virgin sim only unlimited mins texts and data £15. can this phone be used for teathering with my tablet nexus 7 does anyone know??

My opinion don't buy this handset. There is lot's issues, like touch screen, battery back up, loading slowly after restart & many more!!!!
