I bought the ascend with straight talk to save money on my cell phone bill and have internet on hand. really don't like it. The phone has very limited internal storage and comes packed with google apps that you can't delete or move to an sd card.so even with my large external sd card the phone starts to run slow with the small amount of apps I have downloaded

And only sound is problem to you? That says about how good this phone is. And you have problems with sound only because those headphones are very bad, try with another one...

I bought this phone about 5 days ago since i had lost my iPhone 4S. Its my first time owning an android phone and i'm very satisfied! It works great. However I have an issue with the sound quality with the headphones it came with. I bought it for $99. Obviously, it is not as good as the iPhone and I guess it will last me no longer than a year. For the price though, it was worth the buy. Great phone and works fast! Two thumbs up for this phone!

Very cheap (I got mine (SIM locked) for about 60 USD) but very slow.
So slow that it is not really usable...

Bought this awesome phone 2 days ago, since my Ideos X3 sadly got sick!
A long ago I was dreaming about this phone and finally I could buy one.
I'm really really impressed with the performance and quality of the phone.
I totally advice to buy one of these!

I have this phone for about 3 months now. Bought it via mt:s (Telekom Srbija), it has official 4.0.4 ROM, and it's working great. Too bad it has only 512 MB RAM, but beside that I really don't have noting bad to say about this phone; it's simply GREAT.. :)

No problem with signal or anything. Only problem is which rom to choose among more than 30 different versions :)

Very often the signal gets switched off. As in signal bar turns gray. No calls and messages come in. Then the phone needs to be restarted or put into and out of airplane mode to get the signal back.
This seems to be common issue in this phone. Any idea how to solve this?

Headphones are extremely low, even on highest settings.
