this is a great entry level phone with a descent engine and a big and beutiful screen, the downside for me is the amount of Storage and RAM, I also do not like that Huawei emotion UI launcher, I feel that it slows the phone down drastically, so what I did is I slapped Apex Launcher on and set it as a default launcher which gives me the app drawer back, the result is unbielievable and so beautiful. let me just say Apex Launcher was meant for this phone they are like son and father 2gether and the phone performs much faster, and on the lack of storage factor don't worry too much just slap in a 8gig or 16gig microsd card and set it as default storage for data and apps (u can then install as many apps as you want, but not too much remember it only has 512MB ram) to set this up go to settings and under storage change default storage to SD card, the real wow factor about this phone is the display and a surprizing 5mp camera, the built quality is not bad too, just a bit heavy as an owner of the Galaxy S3, Samsung galaxy tab2 p3100 and Ascend P1 I can easily say that this phone is worth every cent that u can pay for it and I give it 7/10 in its competition.

all featurs are good G510,nice disin,ultra slim,best display and good camera,but dont buy this phone,all ways signal bars veary some times no signal even one signal bar,settin autumaticaly changing without my permition,poor sound externel back speaker,no video calls,when power of and power on after five hours...call history deleted atomaticaly,some time very slow spead to get action.you can see the 10 lines on tuchpad.tuchpad line can be seen when display sleep.im too late,allready i was spend Rs24000/-how ever g510 is very acractive phone in market.

A nice mobile with few issues like
- gets heat up while using
- battery timing
- can't move apps to sd card
- few apps gets automatically close while using, incl instagram

mr. sag i have the issue after update and now i solve it and play store is working fine. u remove ur google account and again sign in fresh this will solve ur problem. after doing pl tell this work for u r not.

after latest official update of G510 whenever i open playstore it is being closed with following error (unfortunately playstore has closed) twice i formatted my phone but still error is coming.
what is this i am unable to use playstore how can i fix this error.

Ok i have experince following problems after using it few more days.
1. Heating issue
2. Battery drains faster
3. It laggs when you load some applications
4. It has issue for moving apps to sd card(I can't move by using alot of software it doesn't work.)
i would recommend you to go for LG Xolo Q600 with same price thanks alot.

Dear all,
If you have issues like "people don't hear my voice during a call" with your Ascend G510, you've probably already installed latest Viber app from Google Play. This app has a lot of bugs and after imstallation your phone gone crazy.
In order to fix this, you should follow next steps:
1. Backup all your data. You have All Backup app on your handset
2. Than do Restore to factory defaults (this step is the most important to return your phone back to factory settings and to normal)
3. If you still want to use Viber, from this link you can download app which is working without issuess https://www.dropbox.com/s/t7cs1dri6zfdmpe/Viber_2.2.2.22.apk
4. In the future don't update Viber app or your phone will again go crazy
Just follow these steps and you will have no issues with your handset. We solved a lot of issues like this.

i have huawei G510. great phone.but the problem is no 3G vedio calling option.(not about skype or fring or viber etc)im talking about normal gsm 3G vedio call.tell me how to tale vedio calls on G510.front facing camera is ok.but no 3G call option open when calling.....what are the apps for 3G calls....thanks

I bought Ascend G510, transferred all my contacts through sim but when I wanted to copy those contacts back on the sim it didnt work.
