I bought this G525.Been using for 2weeks .It can last for a day for normal use.But for games or wifi or mobile data,do consider to buy 1 at least "Power Banks" http://www.lelong.com.my/pisen-rechargeable-ts-d043-10000mah-mobile-power-bank-mobile-famcartstore-I1415644-2007-01-Sale-I.htm.
The battery won't last for those heavy usage.
Use Vroot to root the phone.If phone get heats,just buy case "http://www.lelong.com.my/huawei-ascend-g525-elegant-flip-cover-leather-case-pouch-kitkit85-I1588226B-2007-01-Sale-I.htm" solved problems.

For those claiming about battery problem.
My G525 can last 24 hours with normal usage.
Newly bought G525 is a battery drainer.
Root your G525 and install Rescan Media Root from play store, run and click "disable media scanner" and your G525 is in good battery life.

Hi,i'm having a dilemma...i wanna get a new phone, but got 2 choose from lenovo a706 or huawei ascend 525..both r quadcore phones and cheaper compare to others...umm, i like the huawei525 coz it looks stylish compare to lenovo 706..well, the only diff they had is that lenovo has led flash, and just 1k price diff..i've been reading about reviews on this 2 phones but still i cant decide which to choose, some say huawei 525 has a bad battery, and lenovo a706 had some response prob..w/c do u think should i go to?? or is there anything u could suggest that i could check into?? pls help me...

If you buy this mobile then you want to buy one battery additional. because i found battery problem only. except battery problem this mobile very good.

Battery is very very bad. Discharges in 3 hours. Don't buy it. My advice to all.

i bought one month back ,the battery is very bad maximum
two or three hours we can use other wise phone is ok.

I got my g525 a week ago and i tried almost everything ,everyday i use skype with my doughter and it was excellent ,not bad at all at ds price i'm happy for having ds phone

Huawei Ascend G525 -It is just a cheap china phone and the ram is not 1 gb ( at lest the phone i bought ) and the battery stand by time is 24 hrs and talk/surf time is 3 hrs only. it will work as long as it works and then gone ( just like any other common china phone )and good as long as it works fine for normal usage. but dos not hang like Samsung s duos . very difficult to find accessories (flip cover, screen protector, battery, case etc) and the case is really cheap plastic. The only good thing about is that it works with Android with Play support.

In 10 mins of playing (tample run)I lose 15% of battery (battery heats up to 40C). does it hqappen to you too?

The huawei in my opinion is a great phone for a great price.
For the money this is the perfect phone for gaming.
i tested this thing and big games like dead triger 2, modern combat 4, modern combat 3, asphalt 8 airborne, real racing 3, flight infinitive, xplane 9 ware running perfectly the only game what had any lag was Fifa 14
Another thing i noticed was that this phone has a great battery life and a great stand by time because i was gaming for around 14 hours and this phone had 43% battery charge left.
