Very slow after a few months usage, no updates whatsoever. Missing crucial Android components like device encryption. Highly recommend avoiding this phone and other Huawei devices for that matter.

i just tried to update lollipop 5.1.1 but my phone (huawei ascend g7 l01) is not opening. It just freezes to the android logo. What should i do???

I have Ascend G7
I had a problem of contact application halt!
My contacts went blank!
i noticed that "imo" application did not respond and my issue of contacts began since then. I uninstalled "imo" and problem resolved.
I also turned "huawei cloud" and "google back up" off.
until now everything is OK.

I LOVE my Huawei... What an amazing phone. Well priced, and the camera is fantastic. My husband bought a little Sony Pocket camera and my Huawei takes far better pictures! Recently the phone was stolen and I very happily puchased a second. Love it! Great value for money!

Dear All,
Pls DO NOT BUY HUAWEI phones!!!
I was looking for something with reasonable price, large display and metallic body. I found Ascend G7 of Huawei.
Now that I have it for less than a year, my contacts, messaging, log go blank! Funny!
it began with log, then contacts. Now, my messaging and log are OK, but it is two days that my contacts have gone blank. Also unable to add a contact or sync with Huawei cloud!!!
I surfed the net and found many people having G7 faced the same problem.
Another thing is that apparently Huawei intends to issue an update after 1000 years!!!
Nothing is cheap!! I will never buy Huawei nor I will advise to anyone.
