Since this Hand set uses cheaper Mediatek MT6589 chipset,you may always face GPS problems. Actually almost all cheap rate smart phones having more options uses Mediatek MT6589 chip set,which is having problems with GPS. In other features this smart phone is OK.

Hi every one
I bought huawei g700 and every thing is OK,but when I use camera to record a video it was record it whit 3gp format so I go to setting of camera to change format of it but it doesn't have any setting to change format of recording video.
What do I have to do?

you can take screen shot by pressing both volume down button and power button simultaneously, you will here sound of shutter like when you take photo with camera.

I tried taking the screenshot omy huawei G700 by pressing volume down key and power off key together but till I am not able to get the screenshot. Am I missing something

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2014how to update android version for this devise.You can check for updates by going to settings then about device and online updates if updates would be available then thy would be download.. yet the latest version avalible is 4.2.1 its is good to have this version because it has 8 gb memory and you can transfer apps to sd from settings then apps and click on the app to send and select send to sd card.

Huawei ascend g700 is a good mobile and about a comparision with gionee elife e7, gionee is a good mobile that comes with too good specs in reasonable price but gionee is a single sim phone....... so its your choice that you want to buy gionee or g700

As a device it has almost no drawback it is quite fast even when a lot and I mean a lot applications running the same time.
Drawback I found is the camera that is not have very good picture taken especially the night.
One more is the lack of any upgrade
This device comes even with only one
Sim
3 different software version
G700-U00,G700-U10,G700-U20(one sim)
The price in my opinion is fair
And you can work even if you wear gloves
The screen is very good and you can read and watch everything without need a tablet.
The sound with the HUAWEI's application is dreadful but if you install any other is in very good
Total quality is above average
it's have I think a scratch proof glass
The back panel if you going to put in a case look out you may have to put some scotch tape in 2-3 layers
near the power button
After all so far I had no problem with the GPS
The phone part and the Wi-Fi part needs some improvements
In general I am satisfied by my choice
It is not perfect but a very good device
