does google maps work on this unit? is there any navigation software available for Huawei G700? I am thinking on buying this and interested if mapping, navogation and GPS is reliable.

For audio issues - go in engineering mode and try to increase it. Camera is enough for me, not excelent but it`s OK. When you speak on SIM 1, if SIM 2 is forwarded you`ll receive audio signal for waiting call. If not - User is not in range. :)
Everytime when you call somebody device can ask you which card to use. I didn`t find for now how to do it with association and without asking. I`m associating contacts and ask me again. Both cards are in use and when one is in call other one is busy/not answering.

u cud better opt for other brands like samsung, htc, nokia. i bought huawei ascend g700 2 weeks before, d picture quality is too low and now i'm facing prob wid the audio effects. i cudnt hear any sound while d music s being played or when d speaker phone is on , no notification sound even on loud mode.

want to increase in call volume as after setting it highest it still not high. Seems its built in volume is very low, any solution plz update

G700 will be stuck on 4.2 forever, that's a fact, b/c Mediatek forbade 3rd party development (for all of their SoCs), so no CyanogenMod ever, and Huawei won't update it (did it once, 4.2.1 -> 4.2.2 in november, OMG, the update!)). That's why it will need 2GB of RAM. With KitKat, 1GB is plenty, personal experience with a CM ROM.
Quadcore is pure marketing: CPU is weak, GPU is weak, search for tests (eg. in Antutu 13k, while SP does 24k). G700 screen is IPS, but not really THAT better over SP's. Out of 8 GB internal space, only 3.5 is available (5.8GB on SP).
SP just got a stable 4.3 update, and KK is in the works. Even if Sony doesn't deliver, there's a CyanogenMod 4.4.2 already present.

Second, it is quadcore.
Third, the screen.
Fourth, go to shop now and buy G700.

Hi,
I have a Huawei Ascend Y320 and one thing that bugs me is the notification tone, which goes off for sms alerts/available Wi-Fi connections, email, etc. Does the G700 have the option just to set an alert for message or to at least turn off the other notifications?

i bought this unit last march 2014 and i experience everytime in sleepmode (not been used) automatically turns off so you need to turn on again. anybody face same? is this only in settings or need for services? all reply/comments are most welcome...tnx
