Ascend Mate MT01-T00 ie.Chinese Version
as per sources ASCEND MATE MT1-U06 International Version
will get 4.2.2 bye not earlier than December 2013 end.

But I afraid to install, because the previous ver is good for me. After update what will happen, I don't know. Pl if anybody install the updates, pl share with me. My previous ver is supporting 1 TB HDD. I afraid the new ver will support or not. Thanks in advance

my mate is dead after 2 month due to the low quality hardware, i know it is repeated issue in huawei mobiles , just have a second look in the market.

Ascend Mate Android 4.2.2 B906 Official Firmware Released
Well actually we are little bit late to bring this news to you. Huawei has released Android 4.2.2 Emotion UI 1.6 B906 official firmware for the Chinese version of Ascend Mate. However as you might already know Chinese versions can be installed on the international Ascend Mate MT01-U06 without having any problems. However we strongly urge you not to flash this if you don’t know what you are doing.
This new firmware brings bug fixes to the previous official B905 firmware which is already an excellent ROM for the Ascend Mate. Numbered as V100R001CHNC00B906 this B906 ROM is intended for the China Unicom Ascend Mate MT01-T00. Changelog mentions that B906 includes stability improvements, crash fixes and security fixes compared to the previous B905. You can set the language to English after the installation.

Installing this update is done by the default Huawei method of installing firmwares.
1 Unzip the downloaded zip file
2 Put the update.zip on the SD card
3 Boot in to recovery
4 Select update from external storage and select the update.zip
Note that this firmware doesn’t include Google Apps and to get it, you will have to Root and then flash Google apps through a custom recovery like ClockworkMod

I am confused BTW grand duos ,lumia 625,huawei ascend mate and ascend p6.which one is the best,durable or best brand phone??? these are mid range mobiles in Sri Lanka,, I am hoping android OS corning glass display, 5 or 6 inch screen,HD display, good processor battery life, speed,videos, game play.specially good camera quality...and what is the best mobile OS Windows or Android???

I would like to share my experience with this nice device Huawei Ascend Mate. When I planned to buy a smartphone, I found this device is better and cheap for me. Because I studied the review in GSMARENA, the specfication and result is showing very good.(Thanks GSMAREANA Team) So I purchesed this phone last week from saudi arabia. It is very nice device,HD video shooting and photo clearity is fantastic. 1.5 QUAD core with 2GB RAM deliver fast speed, while surfing in internet. HD IPS display & Corning Gorilla Glass is the better result for viewing. Big Screen 6.1 is very good. It will go only your pant pocket, but comfortable, because of solid body construction. The shape of the mobile is looking awesome. out side of the frame is provided with metal.What else. I found the mobile is supporting the External Hard Disc Drive 1 TB. When i try to connect the HDD via OTG cable, it is read all the data with in a mint. After I opened the full HD video via BS player it is running as very smooth and no struck. seek the movie forward and backward, it is running very smooth. Even 10GB single bluray movie files are working very good. I didn't expect this one. I cancelled to buy a Laptop because this device is a laptop. Now I am very happy and proud with this device. The one of the BAD Experience is the mobile case issue. I couldn't found in market even a big mobile shop. Around 25 mobile shops I enquired. But not available. So I had to purchase samsung mega 6.3 cover and alter for suitable port like speaker, camera flash, MIC and headphone. So if you planned to purchase the mobile, buy the case immediatley.
