two major defficiencies i wont go for Mate 7 are lac of 64GB MMC support and processor should not be less then 2.3Ghz Krait.

Wow! This is actually better than the galaxy note 4 overally. I see no reason for a 2k display and a small battery. Can't wait to get one

The Ascend Mate 2 has a 64 GB card slot .
The Ascend Mate 7 has only 32 GB !!!!
I think there is a mistake .

Being a proud owner of the mate 2 can't wait to buy this breast of a smartphone huawei keep up the good work I highly recommend this phone it want disappoint

With lenovo making strides i dont understand why huawei being a big brand is still lacking behind in making dual sim versions in its flagships. I have huawei ascend mate 1 and i think Huwei can be a killer with dual sims in all markets.

i expect Huawei Ascend Mate 7 to score over 42,000 in antutu benchmark. As latest huawei honor 6 did score 41,581 http://www.antutu.com/view.shtml?id=7888 which is a remarkable success for huawei new chip kirin 920. its higher than scores of LG G3, Sony Xperia Z2, Xiaomi Mi 3 (all 3 run snapdragon 801)... and also higher than samsung note 3 score. amazing.

even if these processors are as good as snap 800
there are new generations coming,
snap 805 - snap 808 - snap 810
so it won't match Qualcomm new comers.

mas39, 15 Aug 2014Decent specs but totally let down by the chip, should have ... moreThough i would love to agree with you, we can't ignore the fact that huawei is on the rise and have stepped up to challenge the top dogs like Apple and Samsung.
As far as snapdragon chip goes, I dont think it matters these days as Apple also use their own chip and Samsung has been using the Exynos in most of the asian models of the s5 and note.
The AnTuTu benchmarks of the kirin are decent scores taking into account that its a relatively new chip but its good to see that they are entering the market with all weapons of their own

Decent specs but totally let down by the chip, should have been a snapdragon rather than their own.

I hope this one will come with NFC, unlike the Mate2 which is a very good fone but without NFC I was a bit discouraged.... NFC pls pls pls!!!!!

Love Huawei amongst others, I hope this phone has more frequency bands, would love to use this phone on T-Mobiles network.
