Have you seen any 440dpi (or more) display in person?And have you compared them directly to the iPhone?seems to me that pro reviewers around the globe are usually blown away by the fullHD ones (440dpi and more). Retina by Apple is "only" 326dpi. But don't get me wrong - iPhone has great display indeed. But fullHD seems to be a touch better and more.

Actually you are right its nothing more then a pixel war,what they actually need to do is increase battery life with a quad core latest supporting chip-set,2 Gb ram enough and a descent gpu and all chip-sets must be very efficient in utilizing power so that we can actually rely on 1 smartphone for atleast 2 years and 400PPI is more then enough for any eye

The pixel war has started. The one with more pixels win. This is really really lame. Nobody needs 1080p display in a 4.5inch phone. It just doubles data usage and data cost. I'm sure next year phones will be coming with 4K Displays just to win the pixel war.
