i have a ascend p6 brand new ..over all the phone is quit good but only the problem is battery life is very short as compare to other handsets Samsung s3 s4 or iphone5
they should really increase the life for battery backup.

I have a ascend y300 and once I put an SD card in there is an option to set the card as the main memory to install stuff on. Also apps to SD then works. As the p6 has a small memory does it to have this feature?

I am using this phone for 1 week and I love this.
Compare to S4, you pay less 250 Euros for this phone and let me be honest to see what you sacrify for this saving.
Performance Speed : Unnoticeable slower (perhaps more noticeable in playing 3D games), I am not a gamer, so it is OK.
Screen : Very Good (Unnoticeable difference to a S4)
Camera : Not as good as a S4 ( But the front cam of 5 M is lovely for skype and self protrait)
Look and Feel : Definitely a lot better than a S4. It seems its case has more premium material than a S4.
4G and NFC : non existent in P6.
Battery : maybe up to 6 hours of intense non stop use (S4 lasts longer) and heat up quite noticeably.
Since I am not a 4G subscriber and not a gamer, the real concern maybe the battery. Since I just pay 55% of the price of a S4 to get this superbly looking phone, I am not regret for one second. (The S series phone is really dull looking compare to this.
Highly recommended for one who has only a small budget.

The sim card slot of my ascend p6 malfunctioned. It cannot recognize any simcard. The service center said that it was my fault due to negligence so I need to pay PHP1500 for the repair because it is not within the warranty. Then I agreed to pay the amount. after a follow up through call, I was advised that the unit will be replaced ( because they need to contact huawei for the feedback but monday is holiday) and they will retain the warranty without having to pay the agreed amount. So i accept there offer to get the new unit on (I dont know when) ... I think they will change the unit because it is irrepairable...But its ok as long as they will replace my unit with new one....

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2013You cannot over charge a battery above it's capacity thats what i said. overcharging protection, read it slowly it mean a protection to overcharge the battery.
yess you can charge your battery over the capacity and the result is blow up battery, thats why modern smartphone have overcharging protection circuit inside the PSU.

I bought this phone 2 days ago for 280 euros.And i love it. Most criticism seem to be unfair since it is not a S4 which costs 500 euros here. It is a bit slower and the s4 didplay is better. But this looks a lot better and slimmer. It has a chiche feel about it. The battery heats up a bit but just a mminor problems for me. If you don't have 500 euros to spend..then this is the best phone you can buy for a budget of 280 euro.

It's really bullshit , I have had this phone for 2 weeks now I totally regrate buying this shit, it's only looks hot and slim but in actually realty this phone is slow,hangs ,freezes, random reboots, and no more then 4 hours of battery life with normal to low usage I had three of these phones they are just shit. Also it's not durable at all my sister broke hers screen first day , its fell fro, bed to floor .
