Being honest here, I regret buying this so much. It's not scratch resistant like ye say, it scratches rediculiously easy and the front camera is atrocious! This has been happening since this phone was bought new, when typing the keyboard shuts off for 5 minutes comes back on for two seconds then goes again. At one stage I had to restart it 10 times within that one hour. Never again do I buy a phone from this make.

These need to be entered into SETTINGS / MOBILE NETWORKS / ACCESS POINT NAMES. Tap MENU, then tap NEW APN.
Enter the details you got from your network provider.
There are a few entries in there such as MMSC which deal with multimedia messaging.
Once you have filled it in, press MENU, then SAVE.
Make sure you select this APN. It will then have a blue dot next to it to indicate it is the active APN.
Turn phone off/on and it should now be all working.

When mobile on... moreHad this phone for a year and that always happend, my advise is sell it and buy some other phone, with at least one gig of ram I went with the s3 mini value edition and there is no regrets anymore. Or if u really want to keep the y300 root it.

for the people who complain how slow their Huawei ascend y300 androids are, all you have to do is clean the cache, and download a system cleaner, its no different than what you must do with your comp.

It's a great phone glad I had it last year it lasted me a year the only reason it broke on me was that paper was stuck in the mini usb slot and it broke the slot in the end so couldn't charge but before that it was a great phone
