those who has problem with mic, it becomes mute during call. go to the warranty center and update the software. one file of android is missing in this phone. after this update phone is perfect.

Anonymous, 16 Dec 2013When receiving or making call the other party cannot hear m... moreFirst of all you need to unlock boot loader (write to Huawei for unlocking code), after that change recovery image (CWM or TWRP, I used TWRP) and apply an modified firmware (I used Huawei Ascend Y300-0100V100R001C00B196 V1.1 (NovaLauncher)), that way you'll get fully functional phone :)

Just arrivied yesterday as a substitute of another smartphone: 89€ and good value for money.
If you don't plan to install hundreds of application, it will work fine and smooth.
No connection problem (both wifi and mobile data.
The first boot takes some times and thanks to the google back-up, I had contacts and application back in minutes.
The screen is bright and clear.
Cons: the default ringtones are not very loud, even at maximum volume. The camera reaches its limit with low light and the led is not very powerfull.
At the end of the day and considering the price, it's a good smartphone for basic usage.

I am using a Huawei Y300 with latest Skype version. All works great but...I cant get a call if I dont have skype open on my screen. It will not show me a call if I am runing another application or the phone is on standby. At the same time I can get messages....
Any Idea???

Amazing phone i had. Been using it from May and never felt bad about it.
I compared it with ma friend's galaxy S-Duos,only camera win on his phone.
As i am living with custom ROMs i have no other problem at all.
Everything is working great.
I love the phone
