Very great phone for price, I'm really impressed for a cheap phone to perform really great. Huawei is great.
All of your problem can be solved by 'googling'
There are loads of Custom Rom to give your phone a new life.

This phone is very buggy and Huawei knows about all the problems! Hopefully Huawei will relase updates shortly. Runs fine till you try to disable or replace the bulky inbuilt (64MB) Chrome browser. There may also be conflicts caused by certain newly installed apps. I had issues with wifi refusing to connect or even see any networks, phone rebooting, auto rotate turning itself off etc. If you dont disable/replace any apps, this phone should work just fine. Excellent performance for the price.
