I'm still happily using my Y520 after 2 years, sure it's slow and not great for anything other than calling/texting and music but the phone is just so darn reliable! I've seen so many other expensive phones have major issues within months/weeks and have to be returned but I've never had any issues with my Y520. It does exactly what it's supposed to do as a budget smartphone. I'm now looking to upgrade to a newer phone but to be honest if the Y520 just had a slightly better battery with a quad core CPU + 1 GB of RAM (which some newer apps require) I would have probably used it for another 2 years.

I must agree with the most negative comments here. this phone is one of the worst phones I ever had. My first device is dead after 13 months, and my second device is now in trouble.. I wouldn't recommend new buyer to purchase any products of huawei..

This phone is the worst ever invented. Its impossible to use a phone with only 512MB ram, the screenshot function hardly ever works, there is no way to turn of the shutter sound that activates after every photo taken on the awful 5MP camera. Overall this phone is frustrating to use and complicates life greatly.
