Huawei launches TruSense health monitoring system ahead of Watch GT 5 launch
Huawei held an event in China today, where in introduced TruSense. It is a ground-breaking system, aiming to set a new standard in health monitoring.
The tech combines data from sensors for respiratory rate, SpO2 (blood oxygen levels), body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, which aren't new for a Huawei wearable. However the company claims they are more accurate, and comprehensive, and better used in the company's ecosystem.
The official presenters on stage did not say which devices will be the first to launch with TruSense, but we heard a Watch D2 is coming next month, so the blood pressure-centric device might be the pioneer in this tech. A teaser for the Watch GT 5 surfaced today, so that's most likely another one.
Rico Zhang, President of Huawei Smart Wearable and Health product line said this health advancement would push users to pursue healthier lifestyles. The new Health Glance feature will allow consumers to measure over 10 health indicators in just 60 seconds.
This includes the well-known heart rate or ECG, but also more obscure ones like the lung function and infection risk, sleep apnea, and hyperglycemia risk.

Having the 4pro, i see no incentive to upgrade. I already have an EKG sensor, CO2 measurements, truesense2.0. Sleep+breathing records etc Heck even the cheap Gt4 has them as well, maybe the new feature will be body tempurature and for the D series ...
