But this "old" one was actually the most interesting. Agree that tall phones are completely pointless. It is the width we like. Screen size is a tad smaller than my previous phone but the width make it feel bigger. Can't understand the hype with tall phones. Maybe they are just building a "need" for foldable phones. To get a wide phone 2025 you need to buy a foldable one :)

This is BY FAR the best phone I've ever owned. It is the widest flagship phone ever made, so unlike the other phones that seem to think longer means bigger, this one gives you the dimensions to actually get things done. No other manufacturer comes close to this screen ratio/dpi combination. The high resolution combined with long battery life is perfect. It's also a flat screen, so unlike the highly reflective curved-edged crap that Samsung is pushing, this one is bright and readable under all lighting conditions. I read a lot of books on my phone, and if you do too, don't bother looking at any later models. As a book reader it doesn't get any better than this. Camera and video also fantastic. I expanded my memory with an sdxc chip to 400gb and it works perfectly. I'm thinking of buying a couple more of these for use in the future since all the newer phone models by the manufacturers are clearly going in the wrong direction.

Great phone. That's my first Huawei and I'm quite impressed by the overall quality of the hardware. Thats the finest piece of technology i've ever had. Although I still can't get it how come they've crippled such a wonderful smartphone with such an useless rom. It kills all the apps after switching the screen off, regardless of the level of power saving. The multitasking is a total crap. The split screen feature doesn't work properly...
So... up to now Huawei disappointed me to an extent that I'm not going to buy any of their products unless significant software change happens.
