I really want this phone. it's important to me to update it to Oreo, EMUI 8. I live in Iran and I wont buy it if the update is not available in my country. How do I know that the update is available in Iran? Please help me.

Hy guys. I was facing problems (lagging in each app overall slow performance) after installation of Oreo 8.0.0 update. Thanks to Huawei companies who solved my problem. I just received newer Update RNLE 8.0.0.311 which I installed and mobile is now back to bombard performance better to earlier. Once again Thank to Huawei who care about their customers problems and quick responded.

my setting to save battery on this device :)
factory reset the phone after update to oreo
turn off mobile data always on in setting
turn off auto sync
turn off screen rotations
turn off locations services
turn off 4G network when not in use
use lower HD+ 1440x720 screen res . can really notice between 2160x1080
turn off vibrations feature
can last for 2 days normal use.

I will purchase my mate 10 tomorrow. I saw here that the battery drains too fast. What do you mean saying that? 2 hours? 6 hours? 12 hours? I also wanted to ask how long does it take to chare fully.

this is my first huawei phone, i am using it for about six monts and i was using samsung for over 7 years before that. Here are the differences i have seen so far-
1. way more features than samsung, even samsung's flagship doesnt have this many features
2. software updates come later than samsung usually
3. battery backup is no where near to samsung
4. after six months it feels like the battery is busted. draining on its own even when i dont do anything and from the comment i can see i am not the only one
5. gaming performance is laggy, i had better experience with j7 2k15 than this one
6. display is sharper than samsung mid-ranger but not as bright as super amoled for sure
its my 100% honest personal experience review. it may very from person to person

Guys it's the first time i'm gonna buy a smart phone. I found Huawei Mate 10 Lite a good midranger for me, i want to upgrade it to Oreo, EMUI 8 after i buy, but as some commented it drains battery charge and some other problems after update im worried about it. Please inform me if it updates with no problem.

It can generally hold up to 1 day of use, but it depends on how you use the phone.

Huawei Mate 10 lite is an amazing cell phone, most important feature is its battery timings. In this price range it is a best option.
