Absolutely brilliant phone 4000 mah battery in such a small form factor, excellent battery life,all the right features such as infra red sensor for your tv, lift to answer call, voice answer call.all it needs is the clock needs to speak time for alarm would be nice.

I can only say the battery life is definitely good.
I played some mobile games(Pokemon Go and Brave Frontier) normally 2 to 3 hours and still able to last without charging till the next day. I would charge my phone max 95% so when I played those 2 games for around 2 to 3 hours, I'll still have around 58%(highest record of battery drain), 65%(lowest record of battery drained). Once I off WIFI and let it go to sleep/display off, the next day I would still have at least 50% of battery life which can last the whole day if I don't game with it or use for gaming for around 1hour.
Only bad is that the WIFI connection doesn't seem to be stable.

Hi everyone.can you tell me which one is better? op6 or mate 10 pro? camera and battery life and performance is important for me.also op6 128gb is more expensive than mate 10 pro in my country(iran)

After 2 weeks I have to say that overall the Mate 10 Pro it's a solid performer. My only concern, as already stated, is the camera. I found that my Nexus 5x produced better results with higher level of details. Do you think that is due to the bigger sensor size of Nexus and Pixel dimensions? (1/2.3 + 1,55um on Nexus 5x) - Camera is an important factor for me and I cannot believe what I saw after all the good reviews on-line praising Mate 10 Pro camera.Of course you can edit Raws to have better results - but the jpg are most of the time like paintings without details and even the bw monochrome does not produce better results. Do you think that the camera will be improved somehow? I am really disappointed by such poor quality in images. As a second choice I could jump on a Samsung S8/9, OP6 or even a P20. Do you think I will have better results with the cameras in these phones? I know P20 is mounting a 1/2.3 sensor, while I do not really know about OP6 pictures quality. Samsung seems pretty good. Thanks for the advices.

When you looking at pictures from your gallery they look pretty sharp and colorful. At least in some of my devices from Iphone 5, Iphone 7, and Iphone X.

Keep using cheap plastic aka Xiaomi and enjoy them bugs, especially cheap ones like yours or Mi A1 thats keep losing wi fi and call quality is mashed potatoes.

I will reckon all you guys not to buy
Huawei or Samsung phones.they are making us fool.bad batteries life.I was big fan of Huawei and Samsung.but they both disappoint me with money value.now I using cheap xiaomi phone Mi max 2.I am very happy with the phone.battery never ends.phone is fast

The promises made of Android 8.1 and now are staying quiet about it.
No website is calling them out after reporting fast android updates at the press conferance.
GSMarena how about doing an article about it. Instead of reporting on Security updates for phones that we know get them on time.

I get great standby time for sure and it appears to be lasting longer after a few days from new. Try leaving the phone in standby overnight after a full charge and check battery stats in the morning

Im on 8.0.0 137 c432 and when I go to check updates, it always says no updates available, so i decided to contact Huawei Support for that. And what a surprise they have NO IDEA about it. So i did a research of mine and found out that my phone was unlocked from some Hungarian network and that they receive updates LAST ONES. Anybody with same issue? Because some of mine friends that are using P10 and Mate 9, already got update for Face Unlock.
