For the 1st week i own it, yes just average battery life, but it becomes better endurance by day usage using their AI learn system. Now i easily got 7-8 hour sot.
Of all smartphone u mentioned, mate 10 pro camera gives the best low light photos. Daylight almost the same.

Hi I reading battery drain in thus phone in xda? How serious is this issue i am heavy user. I am considering Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Honor View 10 and this phone. If its serious issue I might need look at the other 2 phones instead. At moment there is a Mate 10 Pro sales over here.

It's because with all that heavy EMUI skin the phones still just perform blazing fast even on long term usage and thats why I give hats off to HUAWEI!!

Should I get Mate 10 or Mate 10 Pro for daily driver and gaming on the go? But Mate 10 Pro still about $750 - $860 price tag in my country. Dang it !!!

Neutral Opinion, 23 Apr 2018How many hour screen on time for intensely gaming such as P... morewith 4000mAh, and the smart neural CPU that can increase battery life depending on your activity on the phone (if you play games, I think it will over time get used to the burden on the phone, meaning the phone will use less battery), I'm going to estimate around a solid 3-5 hours.

SoC is essentially the same as in the OP5T but as pointed out by someone else, it has AI and NPU features which they claim help capture better images. Also, the Mate 10 Pro is water & dust resistant. But I suggest you wait it out just a little bit. OnePlus 6 will be out soon with a more powerful SoC and possibly water & dust resistance. If a notched phone doesn't bother you, it could be better than the Mate 10 Pro for the same, or even lower, price.
