Mine works 5,5 years now... I only changed the battery (original one), but the new one doesn't hold like the old one in the beginning. I really don't have the need to buy new phone.

Bruh, 02 Aug 2024Mine has Android 12I guess it has EMUI 12 which is actually Android 10; and not Android 12.

The performance is still up to snuff
The camera is very good
The battery though I wouldn't be so sure seeing as it's kinda old already
If you can live without the latest android version then I'm sure this bad boy will still serve you well
Ps. The display is still wonderful

Saw a Foreign used mate 20 pro for #180000 NG naira appoximately 110 dollars is it worth buying now if not please recommend a better option at the same price point,camera chipset and display are keypoints

This is a very good phone until now in 2024! Looks like a premium smartphone too! It still has the play store so using wallet gpay is not a problem. Personally I don`t like that substitute curve pay app used in recent phones of this brand that doesn`t support anymore google services. But one the most common problems it has with fingerprint, wont recognize it sometimes.

Been a honor fan from honor 6 and then got honor 8 and then mate 20 pro when It was first released. It was way too expensive then but it's always been the apple of my eye and I live this phone. I had the battery changes in between and the volume and power button does not work. So I can't restart, I can't adjust volume too.. I either don't charge it so that I can turn off and restart and volume I adjust in settings.. I have auto lock set to 30 seconds so I don't have any issues using the phone without the power and volume Buttons. To fix that I was told I need to change the display but my display is perfect so I am adjusting without the buttons. But offlate the screen suddenly turns black and it takes a whole before finger print scanner pops up.. Since the buttons are not available I am not sure what's happening.. But it's an amazing phone and looks brand new.. I seriously don't want to change any.. I wish they sell in India.. So that I can get a new one.. But Mate 20 pro is just perfect.. The size is best for ppl with little hands
