I have this phone for 2 weeks, its not that big drain but its bad for a 4200 battery and with the kirin 980.

I had an lg g6 and it was better in battery consumption.

Shalik010, 18 Nov 2018Go to phone manger and turn off all automatically manage then useI have the same issue here, i thought that was the screen resolution or something else, but the brightness is above 50%.
I sent for huawei a message, but still no reply.
Overall the phone is awesome.
Hope there is an update for this thing.

Reyu, 18 Nov 2018is anyone else facing battery problem in mate 20 pro?? at ... moreSignal strength plays a big role on how much energy gets consumed. Wifi and the GSM antenna consume differently. So if you have wifi and/or cellular antenna turned on you can easily lose this amount every night. Other people will give different rates because of different signal strengths and settings. Some phones, like iPhone, when it sleeps, it shuts off the Wifi and reverts to your cellular antenna. If you have a limited data, this could lead to data usage you weren't expecting. They do this to save battery charge. I believe you can shut off both antennas and your actual phone call and sms services are still connected. So there are many factors involved.

Using this phone since 27th Oct. No screen issue. Mine is LG screen. Hope not all the LG screen will get affected. Still very happy with this phone.

my internet connection was on lte and it disconnected for a while so i had to decline the call, and call back later.

Huawe, please use Google phone( Dialer) app, its better than any dialer app.

The battery is worse than an Asus, released at april 2018 that costs 250 euros. Great. Doesnt even have 5000 mAh even tho its almost as powerful as my PC
