The battery is worse than an Asus, released at april 2018 that costs 250 euros. Great. Doesnt even have 5000 mAh even tho its almost as powerful as my PC

Had the phone for a week. My experiences:
- Performance is amazing.
- Automatic scene detection in Camera is very confused sometimes, but overall the photos are great. I'm sure they can make this more reliable through a software update.
- I love the IR blaster on the thing.
- Face recognition and fingerprint scanner are working great.
- The battery life is so good that the fast-charging isn't even a feature on the phone.
- Most importantly though, my phone is suffering from the LG-supplied display issue. In low brightness, the phone is showing green light at the edges of the display, especially on the right side in combination with a grey colored image.
On amazon.de the phone has a rating of 3/5 (45 reviewers). 99% of people who gave a low rating are complaining about the screen issue.
Verdict: AVOID THIS PHONE LIKE THE PLAGUE FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER MONTH.

It comes with a headphone that uses USB Type C jack so no problem without 3.5mm jack.

Dazz, 10 Nov 2018I had the same issue that for a 4200mhA battery it was less... moreat night even my data n wifi net is off still by morning after 7 to 8 hours the battery dropped 5 to 6%

is anyone else facing battery problem in mate 20 pro??
at night i turned off data net and wifi and woke up after 7 hours and my battery dropped 4% without any usage?
secondly with 4200mah size battery still its draining so fast with normal usage of insta, facebook and chrome.
kindly please respond if any solution or something.

i dunno if i read it right, but is it not CLEAR ENOUGH that this is supposed to be a HUAWEI MATE 20 PRO review forum? if it is...why is there so many other phone brands BEING MENTIONED here? why don't these people voice out their concern in the specific forums of their choiced brands...

Underwhelming battery life despite the marketed boosted battery (huge lol), a performance upgrade that you don't even practically feel, ugly notch-chin combo, a triple camera setup that doesn't make much of a difference against the likes of the pixel 3 single camera (another huge lol), no headphone jack, another gimmick nano memory that serves no purpose other than to increase the already ridiculous price. Dodged a bullet indeed.

ANYONE HERE WHO OWNS A MATE 20 PRO... please! could anyone tell me wether there is a feature where when you play games, you wont get interfered by calls ? like as in latest samsung flagships, while you play games when a call comes.. in little mini window it will appear and our games wont be interfered. and we can reject or answer in speaker or normal. so PLEASE!? could anyone check this for me and answer for me please?

As camera is not my priority, i feel like i dodged a bullet with Mate20pro and thankfully got the superior 1+ 6T instead and with half the money.
I thought the 7nm cpu and 4200mah battery will give it the advantage over battery endurance. Yet it somehow managed to fail that and even have inferior performance on antutu.
But what's worse is the mess with the LG oled panels.
It's going to be mighty difficult for Huawei to lure me again...
