Hello! What's wrong with this AMOLED panel. I wanted to buy this phone, but 3 out of 4 mate 20 pro in local stores already got burned in within 2 to 5 days of running. This is not acceptable by any means or technological limitations. It is a 1000 euro phone, it should have the best components available. And please do not say that i only say this because i don't have this phone, or can't afford it. I am very worried about smarthphone quality this days. I had a mate 10 pro and got burned in on 14 day of running.

im gone buy this phone next year. think always smart. why should pay 2 price for phone when this phone cost maxim 500 euro not 1000. :)) let people who have much money , so they can buy it for us to. lol

It's a part of the off screen/standby drain which many off those youtube battery tests don't do. GSMA on the other hand does that hence why the Mate 20 pro's overall endurance rating is a bit low (for the battery size) but the on screen time remains impressive. GSMA does this to make the battery life on every devices comparable and at least they provide us with clear reasoning when the overall rating looks off (Mi Mix 2s is the prime example).

Im gonna buy this phone

OPO6T at 90h and Note 9 at 97h but Mate 20 pro at 85h ? Even the 2k screen IPS display and Kirin 970 chipset Mate 10 scored 87h and the 7nm Kirin 980 with amoled screen and 200mah more battery scored only 85h ?

Night is better then Pixel's, I've tested! I'm a long term Nexus user, but have no reason yet to buy the Pixels, they are not up to the Nexus legacy.

I really don't feel the need for the extra fps with it's stabilization, which I must admit, it's impressive, even over samsungs and apples. The stabilization is present in all modes, but at different degrees. Main camera has the sweet one.

One reservation I have is its b... moreMine was usable for 2 full days, with normal phone and browser use, and had 22% left when I plugged it in overnight, after 2 days use. I use fingerprint scanner, but no face id. If you enable both, the phone is scanning constantly in the background, so it;s reducing it's standby endurance considerably. If you turn both off, It will most likely be a lot better. Also, the numbers shown in gsmarena tests are average, you can DEFINATELY improve on them, by disabling useless background apps, revoking some permissions, etc. Plenty of guides out there. If I do all that, I could probably squeeze ANOTHER day out of it, ending with 3 days of use. Just my 2 pennies.
