In general very good phone. But desgin still kinda Galaxy S8 desgin wish if a bit wider like S9 plus, no 4K@60fps that’s mean the Soc aren’t that powerful as Huawei claims! plus the keyboard still slow with fast texting unlike iPhone, lg keyboard or galaxy seems touch latency on chinese phones in general not that good to be honest. Mate 20 Pro still remain the best Android Chinese phone to date and for one plus fan the Mate 20 Pro faster than one plus 6 by the way.

Having gone through countless Sammy's and HTC and xperias as well the last two OnePlus I am astonished at the level of performance on the m20pro. It is absolutely monstrous. Went to an EE store and played for an hour and I saw a 3% drop from intense intense usage. Any other phone would have seen 4x drop. This phone is slick in all aspects the economics is fantastic. I have pre-ordered the phone unfortunately it is out of stock bummer!! And won't be delivered till 5th 6th November. I can't wait that long to do my own personal unboxing. In any case the wit will be worth it. Trust me everyone this phone is something else and then some. Peace

Mate 20 pro is is hi tech mobile, actually people are inexperienced and worst criticizers, some people are jealous of p 20 outstanding features and crying for the height hi tech level of smart phone which others companies do not have. Otherwise mate 20 pro has excellent latest features and best battery timings, I love to see after few days.

Not sure if they keep it or send it back to the manufacturer. What I can assure you is not a fake profile

Spoiler: All governments spy, all tech governments are pressured to allow spying. If you have nothing to hide then don't worry (pre encrypt, use safe services). All phones can be tricked into relaying info by fake cell towers (Stingray's) so VPN up. If a country was to use tech devices as a pre emptive strike then that would damage their future reputation.

Better, way better than Samsung Galaxy Note 9. It has ONLY 12 Mpx dual Camera and selfie Camera only 8 Mpx as the S G Note 8 aint good too.
This phone rock!!! S G Note 8 and Note 9 sucks!!!

Bottom line for me: Best of P20 Pro, best of Note 9, beautifully molded together. Yeah, I preordered a twilight Mate 20 Pro, it already arrived, gonna pick it up in the morning. America drools over it, Europe preordered it even with 6Gb RAM. It's a no-brainer.
Read on for my experience.
I change my phone at least once a year, always getting a flagship, without going bankrupt for paying JUST for brand (so obviously apples are out the window, along with half the samsungs). Right now I use the Huawei P20 Pro as daily driver, still clinging to my old Oneplus 5T - those who haven't owned a Oneplus/Nexus/Pixel don't know what a fluid android is, years after using it. Anyway, I was toying with the idea of getting the Samsung Note 9+, the only thing holding me back being the price, but I tested it in the shops countless times; I tested the Pixel 3 XL when it came out, in the shops, and I wasn't impressed (still not up to Nexus legacy), then 2 days ago I tested a demo model of Mate 20 Pro in a shop and was quite confused, seeing a Samsung-like phone with Huawei's camera powerhouse and battery.
My P20 Pro can endure more gaming then I can brave, and that's over 6 hours of straight CSR2, something on which my Oneplus 5T gives up on after 2 hours, and after a whole hour of me playing intensely in the shop with the Mate 20 Pro, it dropped about 10%, which made me realize it's at least on par with the P20 Pro.
I couldn't use the cameras because of the protective claw in the shop, but I was fine installing apps and the like, the only limit being other people waiting in line to use it. I can say that while the P20 Pro sometimes stutters imperceptibly in some apps(remember, I'm a Oneplus/Nexus user freak) and it did so even when I tested it in the shops before I bought it, the Mate20 Pro did not seem to do it at all, I was actually waiting for it to do some form of stutter, but it didn't happen for a full hour, and it came to me while using it, that it's perfectly fluid. I expect it to have some form of imperceptible stutter after I fill it with apps, but compared to my colleague's Samsung S9+ stutter, which is worse then my P20 Pro's, I think I'll manage.
I see rants about the 3.5mm jack. Major headsets manufacturers are making usb-C headphones(I mean pro-grade headphones), because that's the present, not the future, so ranting about a step-back?! No comment.
Any other rants are pretty much blabber at an already swiss-army-knife flagship phone.

Prop... morelate updates?? samsung note 8 still using oreo, note 9 still using oreo 8.1 but huawei mate 10 pro already received android pie...at least they support for sd card compared to iPhone and pixel..admit that Jack already dead in almost of the flagship model such as pixel and iphone..camera?? ultrawide that better than LG V40, samsung A7, asus zenfone 5z is good enough..note 9, pixel, iphone have ultrawide angle lens?? and no doubt huawei night mode and telephoto no other smartphone can beat that..4k60fps?? pixel 3 also don't have it..u can search on utube..iphone xs max, note 9 all being smoked by mate 20 pro hahaha pls don't mention pixel 3 that only have 4gb of ram..the benchmark on par with asus rog that use 8gb of ram and overclock 845 2.96ghz..battery performance beat the note 9 and pixel 3 and on par with iphone xs max but mate 20 pro offer more faster charhing time cable(40w) or wireless(15w).. admit that mate 20 pro one of the best out there..surely there are no such as perfect phone..but this is good enough

Hesan, 25 Oct 2018Huawei is good just on the paper ! bunch of cameras while a... morelol. i really don't think that even with google's software trickery, it can't recreate those ultrawide shots. even now pixel is copying from huawei's ideas like night sight, it's basically huawei's night mode ala pixel. and that new super res zoom? doesn't quite match the hybrid zoom of huawei as noted by reviewers. pixel fanboys just need to accept that relying purely on software has its limitations.
