Huawei, where is the mate 30 X or mate 40 X?, other manufactures please take note. To me this form factor is way better than the experimental foldable phones.

Works perfectly with T-Mobile in USA. Everything works just like the older 2018/2019 L29 version, except it has the full 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, plus the newer Android 10 and EMUI 11. I received it in absolutely new condition.

    The model number on the sticker on the back of the phone says "EVR-L00" but the software About Phone says "EVR-L29." This is a very clever and fully functional hack with no compromises. This could be my favorite phone for the next 3 years, or until Honor comes out with something next-gen.

        Hi all, I've only realised since the last few months that when recording at 4K using wither telephoto lens or ultrawide lens the video are not 30fps and so jerky. Only with main lens are the video smooth at 30fps. Has this always been the case or has it change since Android 10/EMUI11?

          Had my mate 20x for 2 and half years. Best damn phone I've ever had. Recently replaced it with an S21 ultra 512gb. Still missing the screen, camera was pretty good compared to the s21U, I preferred the wide lense on it as it didn't have as much distortion.

          If huawei/honor make a flagship 7+ inch phone again, I'd buy again in a heartbeat. Honor x30 looked like a good candidate but they cheapened out on cameras by throwing in shitty "filler" macro units

                I go outside in all weather at work and with my dog... What did you do, to need this ip68 rating?

                  It's a shame that this phone doesn't have an IP68 rating and FM Radio support, or else I would have traded in my vanilla Mate 20 for this phone. It is very VERY rare to see a modern large-sized smartphone like this with a headphone jack.

                      I killed it some month ago and bought this Chinese version with global rom, a brand new phone with 8gb and 256gb and its 100% like the other original global version I had.

                      No Chinese letters, programs etc etc and everything works as it should as a global version phone, also with all Google stuff, GSM, Google discover /feeds etc etc.

                      Awesome phone.
                      So it's a like a new release because of the GB upgrade 🌞

                        Hii folks

                        I bought my no 1 M20X in December 2018. In June 2021 I bought me a brand new no 2 because I killed my fist with a big drop 🤯

                        I rember back time there was a solution for my answer here, but can't find it.
                        Hope someone can help me in here.

                        The answer is:
                        When i restart the phone, automatic brightness dimmer is on, even i locked it in settings... Hate it.

                        Anyone have a solution in here??

                            I own mate 20 x with 6, 128 version when i purchased it brand new out of sealed box.

                            I m planning to upgrade to 8, 256 version but kind of concerns purchasing it online will there be any flaws like scratches and cracked, since this is the used one.

                            Anyone willing to share your comments and opinions.

                                I bought me a new one on Aliexpress 1 month ago.
                                It's a Chinese 8gb/256gb version, they made it a 100% Global version... Awesome.

                                So i have this and xiaomi mi 11 ultra, right now i write on mate, love the big display, so I'm sure my Mi 11 ultra will be a reserve for me 😁

                                  Am currently using Samsung note 10 plus. I bought it wen my mate 20x got issues. Till now am still missing my mate. So am thinking if to go back to mate but I don't know if the camera of mate will match up or even better off note 10 plus camera. I have forgotten how mate camera was.

                                    I have a Samsung S21 ultra, a Xiaomi mi 11 ultra and a brand new Huawei Mate 20 x, my second, which I bought some weeks ago BECAUSE, I can't feel comfortable with the S21u and mi11u to.
                                    And mate 20 x still have a hell of a camera, and beeessttt battery time and then it have the good Kirin chip.
                                    So for he is not lying.

                                        My first one was a hong kong version, kind of global, but with 6gb and 128gb.

                                        This really rocks.
                                        10 days from i order it, until I get it delivered 😊
                                        Love this phone, battery is the best I ever had. The auto focus is totally awesome, go home s21 ultra and mi 11 ultra...
