I received mine 4 days ago and I loooove it :)
few phone have that much features : full stereo, IR blaster, pen support, 5000 mah battery, 3.5mm jack, classic fingerprint reader (works 100% and so fast), flat screen (I prefer this way, especially with a pen), and very good cameras.
I found the size OK, even if I'm not a tall guy, I would have bought it even if it had 6.5 screen size.
Software is good, I put nova launcher on it.
Battery life is (very) good. The only feature missing is wireless charging but... I dont care with that much of battery life.
I bought it for 571 euros including pen, international version on a famous market place.
I'm in France, the phone came from ireland and it took less than a week.

Dear Huawei lovers...
I need some advice from all of you. I am using Huawei Mate 10 Pro... and I am planning to change my Mate 10 pro... I am thinking of buying either Huawei Mate 20 X or wait for Huawei Mate 30 pro...
What I really need a phone are: Baterai, Performa, and Speaker... I love playing games... listening music (all the time)....
Should I wait for Mate 30 Pro ( I dont care if Mate 30 Pro will use other OS since I love Huawei)... I will buy Huawei no matter what... OR I should buy the Mate 20 X, since its big, great speaker (as I heard and read) and big baterai, but it's already almost a year old...

Uninstall excessive battery consuming apps and you are good to go.

You have to dig around. I can't remember where it was in mine but with that on and it always looking for wifi it was causing me to loose or have very low cell signal.

Replaced my Note 9 for this phone. And won't be getting the Note 10 either. Nothing beats the bigger screen and battery life. Plus pen!

Also I went back to a 4.5" phone from a 5.5" phone and the keyboard was a problem for me, bought a Lumia 820 with a 4.3" screen but WP keyboards are decent.

But you say that Samsung phones deteriorate after 6 months as if that's happening to everyone. I'm not a fan of Samsung or Huawei but my J7 Core is doing just fine after almost 9 months. Deterioration will happen depending on how you use your phone. I'll never get a Huawei anyways, their phones in general have subpar structural rigidity, not as bad as Xiaomi though.

I own this phone and although it is the upper end of what size I would find usable on a daily basis, definitely would not say its too big. In fact I couldn't imagine using a smaller screen like an S9 now.
Also battery life on Samsung is awful, I couldn't deal with knowing it might not last the whole day.

I Cant wait to try out the Huawei OS..HongMeng. Once it can support Dual Apps and Private/Secure Space, Im dumping android for good; For me it will be iOS and HongMeng

Huawei phones are good for 2 years , no problem. in the battery area samsung is still garbage. i have used both s9 and huawei mate 20 x. Go for mate 20 x or mate 20. dont worry about android ban. it will not affect the phones that exist already. there is noting better than mate 20 x for watching videos and netflix. no need to worry that battery will go low in case of mate 20 x. if you want to buy samsung then buy a power bank also. words means nothing until you experience it. use both phones together and you will know.
