this is the phone for the people who uses their 70% of their is on the social medias. why?majority of smartphone users knows that this brand and uses 40mp captures painting images or we should say it unnatural images. good for instagram, flickr, tumblr, and others.

So, smaller notch is more premium these day? There still some bit of bezel there top and bottom.

You confirm what I thought about Mi Max 3...
But for me this high SAR value is really a problem. Almost 1.6 is really a huge value...when there are children around (even if it is absolutely better not to give them any phone) it would always be in my minde that in the house we have an apparatus which has this high SAR value and could have been easily changed if made another choice of smartphone...
I guess this is none of your consideration but for me that is the main point that urges me not to buy it at the moment...

This phone actually has a smaller footprint than the original Sony Xperia Z Ultra....which had a 6.4 inch screen. I owned that phone back in 2013 and it seemed big compared to your average smartphone back then. I guess nowadays the mate 20 x will not seem that big compared to today's size standard.

As I'm based in the United Kingdom I had to import it via www.eglobalcentraluk.com and in total I only paid £210 for the Black dual 4gb Ram/64gb storage (Global Version) variant.
If your a powerhouse user for games and productivity you might find the device slightly underwhelming because of the snapdragon 636 performance limitations. But other that and not having NFC the phone is a real beast for the price. Especially the long battery which cant even be beaten with the current flagship phones due to it having a 5500mah capacity. My only regret is not paying the bet extra and going for the 6gb/128gb variant.

Does anyone know when the phone will be released in Europe? I guess that it will then be a global version? In the specs it appears that it supports nearly all the bands so it is reassuring....
Anyhow, this phone looks great even for the ones who don't intend to mostly be on games with...According to me it is a great phone also for the ones who watch a lot of videos and who have access to legal streaming.
Just the price is a bit high. 900 euros is exagerated.
One last question: does anyone have a Xiaomi Mi Max 3? Because I was very interested in this phone because looking for a phablet with huge screen, found it a great value for money, but one huge con was the very high SAR value....for this reason I would maybe wait for the Mate 20 X even if the price is a bit too high...

Mikestroh, 21 Oct 2018I Read the specs as well but I read elsewhere that it doesn... moresorry sir i can't help you. i just informed that the specs here lists USA bands. the phone has not been released. things could change on the general specs. be patient. Huawei should list it on their website for you to see as well.

Mikestroh, 20 Oct 2018I hope they do an international version so I can use it on ... moreI looked up AT&T's LTE Bands and 3G Bands and it already supports them (click on the line that says "Network" and compare them to the Bands on Google, but before you buy double check with AT&T Directly) and all you have to do is know how to go into settings, find the one for language and set to English (or whatever your preferred language is) and write that process down.

Alik, 20 Oct 2018Why do not you have any radio phone with an infrared?!!!Probably because they don't see it as a small convenient media consumption device but target it at gamers giving both a full smartphone and Switch Gaming Platform like experience. I wish it had a radio too though, but then again I also wish I could afford one. Also I am guessing that they put an IR to act as a wireless controller for Android OTT Gaming/TV boxes. Just a guess though.

this is the 40mp that captures painting images again that good for instagram posting and other social media apps out there not for memories and not for albums. maybe huawei must consult to those brands that is veteran on camera's not on the wants of people who wants to look not them what do they call it 'beautification'?camera of samsung = camera of huawei bout they captured unnatural. is this the innovation of china brand and korean brand?
