Bought mate 30 pro
And can’t solve the google apps issue

This is the phone for me. Don't need 5G and finally no stinking Google spyware. My main reason to root was to get rid of that disgusting Google spyware. Better camera than my P30 Pro it looks like.

Mate 30 is a good phone but you can watch reviews on youtube and compare them

But if u need one 1~4 months down the road, Mate 30 Pro 5G hands down.
All other phones do not have 5G capability installed in them nor they just reach Gen 1 in 5G, this phone has already hit Gen 2.5.
Though I'd like to say the downside of the Mate 30 Pro is the side commands.
During playback, its not quite ez to consistently control the side volume button nor is it really well-responding to side-taps at time but that i believe can be patched in future updates.
Now just wanna wait and see if Mate 30 Pro gets Google or not.
If they do its a win but even if they don't, the venturing in the unknown is there but bright.
I've personally tested a few of their stuffs and its quite on par with most common used apps, just that ppl need to get used to them.
