Pretty outdated rear design i'd say. Looks so much like the mate 20 pro from 3 years ago. I mean, we've seen punch holes, teardrop and U cutouts and even under display cameras for a better viewing experience. Why return to iPhone x notches now? I would've loved an all-screen mate. Other than that it's a nice phone.

"IP68 rating means that based on certain defined test conditions, the device is protected against harmful ingress of static water at up to 2 metres for the Silver and Black versions, and up to 6 metres for the Orange version, for up to 30 minutes."

This phone looks cool. Still few reviews on YouTube but mate50 pro's photo samples really nice and colors looks natural. Hope gsm arena crew can get one and review.

It shows real-world speed results that outpace 4G by a big percentage. And you don't have to be very close to a tower to enjoy the 500-600mbps download speeds. It makes a difference, and I am glad to have a 5G phone. I wouldn't buy a 4G only phone now. Why go backwards?

Its funny how marketing gets into peoples head. 5G is pure hype. Yeah its so fast (by getting super close to a tower), for what use? For watching 4k p*rn? Downloading pirated 4K movies? While this 'millimeter wave' is draining down your battery. I bet 4G can manage to quickly load up videos of cat/dog you frequently stream in social media apps. Or why not just go to one of your friends' and connect to their wifi if you don't have a wifi in your own home, fiber connection is more reliable.
