joe nodden, 03 Sep 2023Why don't you continue reading the rest of the thread ... moreOh do you think i cant read ? You said that guy lie. Actually you the one who lied, let me hilight what you said before, so you can remember every trash talk you did. Like this 'And no, 3nm isn't 10nm, it's probably worse than even that. Probably closer to 20' .
Lol

dzodzo, 31 Aug 2023mate 60 pro got 0 for gpu because antutu couldnt recognise ... moreThanks for pointing that out. Didn't notice it. When I first saw the 699k score I thought it was a bit low and went to see the score of the original Kirin 9000. Before that I thought "They couldn't have just rebranded an outdated SoC could they have?" But when I saw the score I thought that may have been the case. I even when to see if the cores and stuff they used were similar. I noticed they weren't but didn't think much of it.
Anyways, if the CPU score is something to go off of it should be somewhat similar to the 8 Gen 2.

Enchantres, 01 Sep 2023Dont waste your time for people who have broken logic. HahahaWhy don't you continue reading the rest of the thread to see this guy's non-"broken logic" completely debunked. Unfortunately you people are incapable of reading so you probably won't.

Jongjave, 01 Sep 2023Well , im not talking about physical feature nor gate pitch... moreOh wow so you already responded to the guy with a quote that directly disproves your point. And you continued responding in a completely foolish manner. Great.
"im not talking about physical feature nor gate pitch."? Where do you think the "3nm" figure is supposed to come from? You are talking about it.
"Im talking about that dude comparing 3nm tech with 20nm in general."? My brother in Christ, look at the quote. It's not a legit "3nm" node whatsoever, it's, at best, what can be described as a 24nm node. That's what everyone here is talking about.
"Today 20nm fabrication node is an ancient tech for smartphone chip, its no way can match 3nm chip." Yeah, and this "20nm fabrication node" you're referring to was also a lie. Nobody brought up a fake 20nm node up until you've just now mentioned it. It was more than clear that we were all referring to the true scale of an alleged 3nm node. And there was absolutely no wait you could interpret it otherwise, as you're trying to make it seem. Don't change the topic because you originally failed to do your research.
"And that dude sayin manufacturer lie about that, so by that dude logic all people in this world have been fooled by let say TSMc/samsung including company like apple/qualcomm/mediatek by using that tech ?"? Yes, yes you, and most other people have.
"I knew about transistor density so do apple/qcomm/mediatek engineers." No you did not. And the fact that you're attempting to clarify this this tells me you didn't.

Jongjave, 01 Sep 2023Oh wow. 3nm close to 20nm. Its amazing for your own reality... moreHoly cow this world is doomed if people like you exist. God forbid you think for yourself and look this stuff up instead of blindly trusting marketing terms.
I know quoting Wikipedia is frowned upon, (ironically probably by people like you who know infinitely less than those writing the articles) but this quote sums it up perfectly:
"The term "3 nanometer" has no relation to any actual physical feature (such as gate length, metal pitch or gate pitch) of the transistors. According to the projections contained in the 2021 update of the International Roadmap for Devices and Systems published by IEEE Standards Association Industry Connection, a 3 nm node is expected to have a contacted gate pitch of 48 nanometers and a tightest metal pitch of 24 nanometers."
48 and 24 ≠ 3. But in your own magical reality you'll continue believing that companies are incapable of lying to you, and that said companies are also capable of manufacturing legit 3nm process nodes. Do me a favor and research something for once in your life.
Edit: I just now realized another person in another reply responded with the same quote. Haha great minds think alike, though fools who believe companies can't lie to them seldom differ.

Congratulations to Huawei on this impressive victory against sanctions! As I watch the tests, I can clearly see that they have produced a remarkable product. The performance of their in-house Kirin CPU is even equal to Qualcomm's 7-5nm chip.

This is the first smartphone which its software and hardware components are 100% Chinese and produced in China itself despite all the US sanctions.
No brand in the world can offer this.
