Looks to be an awesome phone with the specification mentioned. Hope that it stands true for its quality.

have a note 3 and all new notes are dissiponting. I am waiting for mate 8. If those spec will be tru it will be best phone ever. Just make big battery and 20 mp cam. The mate s have to little battery and display.

The Huawei Mate S is a huge disappointment--small screen and tiny battery. I was waiting for the Mate 8 to arrive, but instead, I just bought another Mate 7 used, which is a great phone. My first Mate 7 was stolen.

waited so long for Samsung galaxy note 5 only to be imbaresed of Samsung after the launch... It's sad they are killing off their top of the line phone. Honestly I just hope huawei nexus has a dual sim/sd card reader... I know... wishful thinking but a rumour hunter can dream

Oh gosh! I'd like this one in stead of yet another Samsung Note.
If only it would support LTE band 20 (800 MHz) to accomodate Western Europe LTE networks... For it wouldn't make much sense to buy such a nice top specs phone and settle with just 3G networks connection in nearly all rural western Europe, would it?

I really would like for this phone to have stereo loud speakers, I've come to appreciate that feature a lot. This seems to have the other features that I want, but this is the Rumor Mill though. The picture shown doesn't seem to have stereo speakers.

i thought sony xperia z4 is the best..i`ve been waiting soooo long for that phone almost 1 year...now there z3+ and others...where the z4...?
now i admire with huawei mate 8...i really hope that huawei will not dissapoint their lovers...i decide to have it before end of this year...please release huawei mate 8 as schedule..

please make a mate 8 Plus or something with REMOVABLE battery :) :)
i don't care about quick charge or something just an extra battery in my pocket or wallet will do the trick. i hate carying around those big heavy batterypacks with cables and need to charge them all the time etc. etc. extra battery is allways in handy and you can use the Phone full (like camera flash, or watching movie, playing game) cause Phone is 100% after installing 2nd battery.

I really wanted this phone and found it doesn't have infrared a feature I've now gotten used to for the TV etc. Without that I don't think I'd now get one, such a shame I really wanted this phone.

Phones can all take rain and things like that as long as they are not submerged, I really see waterproofing as an extra but its always good to have
