I'm looking to wait till the Mate 9 for my next phone (old Z3 currently used and its falling apart). I read some review of upcoming phones that the Huawei Android adoption for Mate 8 is packed with bloatware and horrible to use for everyday usage. Is there any substance to this? Or is it just something you'll get used to after using it for awhile?
I dont want to root or whatever I'm too lazy for all that. I just want something out of the box that is working good.
Thanks in advance..

It's a great smart phone ever! Good connection wifi (strong), fast. Charging, large screen, long life battery 4000mah,loud speaker, ezy to use, but you need a good protection screen and cover. Bad conditions in night capture picture (low light) situation.

From Bangkok, Thailand.
Wanted to replace a phone a few months ago but no Apple or Samsung, as they are too widely used.
Wanted something different and better, thus decided to head for Mate 8.
What a satisfaction!
Gave a premium feeling and got all attentions whenever used it!
Guess what!? A few more weeks after that, also purchased Mediapad M2 8.0 premium edition (32GB ROM, 3 GB ROM) with Harman/Kardon stereo dual-speaker!
Just love all-metal unibodied design of these 2 devices!

Click on them and disable auto synch. You also could disable Google Play auto update option - Google Play, 3 vertical lines on top left screen side, Settings, Auto-update apps, Do not auto update apps. Also go to phone Settings, Advance settings, Battery manager, Protected apps and allow only third party apps you need, for example Whatsapp, Facebook, Mail in case it is a third party. Apps which are not protected will be put asleep and will not work on background when phone is asleep.

I just got my mate 8 yesterday and I have to say that I'm not very impressed with the battery life. I have been using this morning for about an hour and a half and it's down to 88%. That is with 58.5 minutes SOT and auto brightness and disabling many things. My Blackberry Passport would still be at around 95% from the same usage. I don't play games, I haven't watched videos, this is from downloading 3 apps, a phone call, some text messages and browsing. What is wrong with this thing? It was supposed to be a battery beast!
