6.0 inch display is perfect. Ones you used it before, you will notice how uncomfortable 5.7 inch display looks like. I hope next year Huawei will have two versions: 6.0 inch display and 7.0 inch display.

Dearest gsmArena followers and friends.Based on the highest specifications and qualities written here,Ascend Mate 8 can be considered a high-end ascending pheblet in all necessary aspects needed for a high end top smartphone besides google nexus P!!!Congratulations and welcome well-done to Huwavie as the first barrier breaker on ascending on top of a summit among all Chinse brands,if I am not mistaken!!All using apps that I checked are the best lasts in their categories like android mashmallow,bluetooth4.2+++.cameras,compelete WALN,etc.I have to mention here that GsmArena,s review with the perfect labs that it has,have absolute superiority to my view or comment for sure!Also,sorry for my mis-spelling because my very old but good device is not very advanced to elaborate much better like smart-devices of nowadays....Thanks all,gsm,huawei and all happy good luck lucky users of this native made smartDevice....Justice Rights.

Mate 8 is 185g and 7.9mm width, but it isn't a good design for the rear fingerprint reader, every time unlock the screen are some of the limitation because of holding the big while heavy phone. I really don't know why they design the fingerprint reader at the back it is looks same as the LG G4, when the phone place on the table or bed, it is annoying to pick up the phone for unlock, most people will press the fingerprint reader from front or side of the phone to unlock the screen and most people are unfamiliar to the back fingerprint reader, especially such a phablet.

Anyone outside China have to wait until February to get it .
As Huawei will relaunch it in CES for the international market .

I one of the owner of huawei product ( huawei mediapad x1) still waiting for update to the latest android system. I hope huawei would wake up from dreaming so that it concern to its service

For 6" size screen, the resolution should be at least FHD. I also wanted to use SD card in a seperate part than the 2nd simcard port.

You can see their shops here and there in all over the country. Phones come here when it's available in the international market. Can be delayed one or two weeks.

Good Job Huawei, the best thing you have done is not going with 2k screen coz it will just eat up the battery.. i have LG G3, SGS edge+ and iphone 6 plus and i really prefer the Iphon's display even though it is a Full HD.
