Indeed it looks good and I am very glad Huawei took the first step to bring out the new G71 GPS which is purported to increase the phones speed 15% over the T - 880 MP12. It's good when '1 inch is reduced from the 6 inch. In fact I wish they do mini of this phone for the first time. 5'2 inches MATE 9 mini. Surely people will buy that one than this 5'9 inches one. Well done Huawei. I will go to YouTube to check this phone up tonight and tomorrow night.

As an Huawei fan, I think HD screen for 5.9 inch screen and it is lcd , and no water resistant , and for 700 euros ?
I think that is pretty expensive, at least the screen could've been qhd

No optical telephoto? I will get an iPhone7 plus then, even if the screen is 0.5 inch smaller.

they should have left it at 6". Many people like bigger phones and good phones with flagship specs at that size are hard to come by. Let huawei not make the same mistake Samsung made. It appears that Samsung only looks at the Asian and Indian market to sell their big phones like A9 pro and C9 pro because the people there appreciate big phones. All because of profit. They ignore their customers in Europe who like big phones.

The screen of original mate was 6.1"…after that when came to mate 7 it became 6" (shrink 0.1")…when came to mate 9 it shrink again became 5.9"…lol…so what will b the screen size for few generations later? Lol

Great phone. They only cut a corner in the RAM department (4 instead of 6GB) otherwise it's perfect. And no, higher resolution screens don't offer anything when we're talking about phones. Includes an IR blaster too.
