Huawei please provide Root ability and support for the Dev's.
People need the root ability and from what I have seen and read so far,
you are on track to be the dominate force with the Mate 9.
Why is Nexus and the soon Pixel phones popular is the support for root
and they are well built and the 6p has rocked Samsung and others.
I have the 6p and Nexus 6, but seem to always reach for my Nexus 6 for the Screen size.
I wouldn't carry a phone with a screen size less than 5.7, unless all I wanted to do is make calls and text, and even texting is not that great on a 5.5 inch screen.
No bloatware and a simple interface would complete the package.

1080x1920 is more then enough for even large phones. Except if you are going to do VR and the phone is fast enough to push VR through that quad screen then and only then is a quad screen needed IMHO. I have a quad screen android and my wife has an iphone 7plus and her screen looks a little bit better. Other things then ppi make a great screen, Amoled, How blacks are displayed when screen is brightest and other non resolution features.

Snapdragon 2 years in a row proved to be failure (first with CPU, now with GPU). Exynos is a much better choice, but it's restricted to certain devices. I prefer Kirin, because of its stable performance, rather than Snapdragon having spikes and throttling all the time.

Huawei please, if you want to teach samsung a lesson.
1. make sure to use the same charger that is found on the honor 8 (unlike the p9)
2. make sure to to use a screen with same tech as the p9 plus
unless samsung builds a 10nm chip (you're safe to dominate)

This phone is almost perfect. It has everything....plus big size. All thats missing is infrared for use as remote. I know infrared is an old technology but this feature is so useful.

This phone maybe a powerhouse but it doesn't look attractive at all unlike the Mate 8. The Front looks alot like the Asus Zenfone 3 and the Back reminds me alot of the ZTE Axon.

stop didn't we all see the picture about mate 9 from HUAWEI which told us a duel 20 migapixel camera ...... Then what is the 12 doing next to the camera there and in my opinion if the phone was with 2k resalotion and a13 or more migapixls at the silfe camera,more than 4500 mah,water resistance by a good degree....this phone will be the phone I and too many people were waiting for it
