This is my personal view for the Pro version
The screen actually is not that curve.. only the glass is curve covering the screen
the camera performance not that superb if compare with P9 Plus or S7 Edge/S6 Edge+ camera even it came with same engineer leica
It feels funny the home button can even be pressed like samsung or iphone home button..
The price is too pricey skyrocketed like Iphone 7 Plus Price It's make me feel this phone need to compete Iphone 7 with strong features otherwise people with definitely chose Iphone 7, Samsung S7 Edge

Raskall, 27 Dec 2016I have this phone (pro, 128Gig storage) and it does not sup... moreThough I trust you, I really can't imagine Huawei issuing 2 releases of Mate 9 Pro, with 2 slots, nano & micro, with the second slot permitted to be used with µSDXC cards on the 64GB model, but not on the 128Gb version. It would be commercially stupid from them.
Sorry for my weak english

shj92922, 24 Dec 2016for one who bought it doest it support sd card? cause some ... moreI have this phone (pro, 128Gig storage) and it does not support external SD cards. What you get is what you have. And 128Gig should be sufficient for most people. :)
Otherwise I love the phone. A bit expensive but totaly worth it.

Mina, 26 Dec 2016whats mean by Dual 20 MP +12 MP, camera ?Hi,
That means one camera black & white 20 Mp plus one color camera 12Mp, to elaborate the final picture. You can choose to use only the black & white camera if you want. Same as Mate 9 (non-pro)

I am totally eager to purchase one of these 6 gig ram models from My optus Service Provider
I hope this model gets released in Australia soon
Keen for a decent phone
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
It's an ok phone but bit slow & boring really
I expected so much more from the S7 Edge
Hoping this Huawei Mate Pro will be a smoother more reliable experience
Especially with a 4 core processor & 20mp cam & 6 gig of ram it would surely be the best choice I have considered.

I'm in china at the moment, the Mate 9 Pro was just release a few days ago, and believe me, it's been hard to get hold of them! I've managed to purchase two, and have it now. Nice phones. Picture quality is probably better than the iPhone 7, although it's hard to spot the difference. Build quality is top notch. These are Chinese phones I've purchased, really for Chinese market, my EE sim is working fine in it though! It's speech recognition is Chinese only though, my wife set an alarm by talking into it but had to use Mandarin to do that even though the rest of the system is in English. Although that said, it has a very useful feature of being to talk to it in English or Chinese and it will translate. It interfaces with WeChat really well, as you'd expect. Google Play was put on it by the dealer but is blocked in China...Huawei have their own store on the phones. On returning to the UK I should be able to use Google Play. I struggled to buy these as Mastercard and Visa are useless in mainland China! Don't travel to China with those cards! Anyway, I'm defecting from iPhone to this phone for now...we'll see if it works out, so far I'm happy with it.
